C18 A Rebellion Erupted!
Yang Qing felt a chill run down his neck, causing him to tense up immediately as the small fireball in his hand flickered out.
"Let go of Qing!" Yang Bahu's eyes widened in disbelief as he saw Qin Luoyao suddenly appear behind him. He was so shocked that he almost cried out when he saw Qin Luoyao's hand around Yang Qing's neck.
"Useless? That's a familiar word," Qin Luoyao mused, a cold smile playing on her lips as she looked at the person in her grasp. Her delicate hand seemed harmless, but it could end a life in an instant.
Yang Qing listened, fearfully suppressing his trembling.
"You better let me go, or you'll regret it!" Yang Qing threatened.
"Such a naughty child," Qin Luoyao remarked, unfazed. She raised her hand and slapped Yang Qing across the face with a sharp crack. He fell to the ground, and she immediately picked him up, pinning him against a tree.
"Qin Luoyao! How dare you hit my child!" Yang Bahu's face flushed with anger, his bulky frame shaking comically.
"And what are you going to do about it?" Qin Luoyao raised an eyebrow, her plain, even unattractive face illuminated by her bright, captivating eyes, making her appear strikingly radiant.
Yang Bahu suddenly paused, realizing he had overlooked something. Was this Qin Luoyao really the same person? The one he thought was useless now dared to harm his child, something the old Qin Luoyao would never have done.
What on earth has gotten into Qin Luoyao today? It's like she's a completely different person!
"Your little dog is still biting people, huh? Not impressed," Qin Luoyao said, narrowing her eyes. She grabbed Yang Qing's hand with a firm grip, lifting him off the ground and holding him by the neck, suspending him against a tree.
"Ugh... cough... let... cough..." Yang Qing gasped, trying to pry her hand away as his face turned a shade of purple.
"Stop! Stop! Everyone, stop!" Yang Bahu roared, furious. Couldn't they see his son was about to suffocate? What were they still fighting for? A bunch of useless fools!
Hearing Yang Bahu's voice, the servants gradually ceased their actions and stepped back.
Qin Yuxiao watched the scene cautiously, taking a deep breath. Water elements swirled around his hands as he glanced up and spotted a familiar figure not too far away.
"Yao!" he called out softly.
"Brother," Qin Luoyao smiled and nodded, praising him, "You finally learned to fight back, you silly thing. My brother is amazing!"
Qin Yuxiao chuckled awkwardly, then looked puzzled at the sight of Qin Luoyao holding Yang Qing.
"What's this?"
"Just caught a dog for fun," Qin Luoyao replied, tightening her grip even more. "Brother, let me show you how I train dogs."
Qin Yuxiao was momentarily stunned, nodding absentmindedly as he glanced at Yang Bahu, who had lost all his previous bravado. A cold snort escaped his nose.
