C4 Her Change!
Not far away, hiding behind the door, Qin Luoyao took in the entire scene, her eyes turning icy cold, like frost on a winter's night.
"If you insult Yao again, don't blame me for what happens next!" Qin Yuxiao glared at the four, his chest heaving with restrained anger. Everyone has their limits!
"What can you do? Ha! I'm with the Yang family. If you want to stay here peacefully, you'd better not mess with me!" The servant tilted his chin up, his arrogance blinding him to reality.
Suddenly, a faint whooshing sound cut through the air. In the next moment, one of the servants let out a scream, his leg buckling as he fell to his knees, facing Qin Yuxiao.
The other three looked around, baffled by the sudden turn of events.
"I'll tell you... ah!" Another servant started to speak but was cut off by a sharp pain in his knee, causing him to collapse to the ground with a thud.
The remaining two hadn't even processed what was happening before they too were on their knees, clutching their legs and crying out.
The four struggled to stand, but could only manage to balance on one leg, the other injured and unable to support them.
"You!" One servant glared up at Qin Yuxiao, convinced he had somehow tricked them. This wretched Qin Yuxiao! He would report this to the master when he returned, ensuring Qin Yuxiao faced consequences!
"Ah!" Before he could say more, his other leg was struck, sending him crashing to the ground.
The three exchanged bewildered glances, scanning the area but finding nothing unusual. Qin Yuxiao stood still, not having lifted a finger.
"Let's just go," one servant whispered, and the others nodded in agreement. Despite everything, Qin Yuxiao was still a mage, and they, mere servants with no skills, were no match for him.
At that moment, the four servants, having tasted the bitter consequences, supported each other as they hurried away. Qin Yuxiao watched them leave, puzzled, and glanced around. He noticed a figure stepping forward.
"Yao? Was that you?" Qin Yuxiao asked in surprise. Could it have been Qin Luoyao who had just dealt with those servants?
Qin Luoyao gave a knowing smile. "Brother, I've told you before, I won't let you worry about me anymore. You don't need to bear burdens that aren't yours. Be true to yourself, do what you want to do, and don't worry about what others think."
Her voice was clear and confident, radiating self-assurance. Despite her plain and even unattractive face, her deep, beautiful black eyes shone with a unique light, adding an air of mystery and elegance to her presence.
"Yao..." Qin Yuxiao's throat tightened with emotion, a powerful feeling rising within him, making him unexpectedly choked up. "You've changed."
You’ve changed. You never used to speak like this. Is this still the same timid and compliant Qin Luoyao he once felt so protective of?
But you've changed, and he felt a bit relieved. At least now, she would take care of herself. She had grown up.
"Brother, people change, don't they?" Qin Luoyao tilted her head slightly, speaking with innocent curiosity.
