C10 Chapter ten

" Alex?" Ana walked in. Lucky for Alex, he was backing her so she couldn't see his face which gave him time to change his facial expression.

" Ana?" He turned to look at her.

" I thought I heard you laughing?" She asked moving closer to him.

" Me? Maybe you heard wrong. I wasn't laughing but you know what?" He asked holding her by the waist.

" What?" Ana asked, shy.

" I'm very happy today. Today, things can finally go to normal. There will be no more assaults or fear between us. There will only be love" he said not letting go of her

" Really?" Ana asked smiling. " Will there really be love between us?"

" Yes. Only if you'll forgive me for all I have done to you" he said.

" Yes, yes, yes. I forgive you" she said excitedly. " I love you Alex" she said and embraced him in a tight hug.

" What a fool she is" Alex thought to himself. " If you think I'll forgive you for putting me behind bars, then you're wrong. I'll get back at you, even if it's the last thing I do but first, I'll have to get rid of this Justin guy" he thought to himself and smirked.

" What would you like to eat?" Ana asked breaking the hug.

" Anything you'll be eating" he replied with a fake smile.

" Noodles?" She asked.

" Sure" he said.

" I'll be back" she said smiling and made to leave.

Alex grabbed her by the hand, pulled her to himself and pressed his lips tightly against hers. Her eyes flew wide open at the shock of the kiss. She kissed him back softly before he broke the kiss.

" Sorry about that" Alex apologized.

" It....it's okay" she said and ran out of the room shyly.

" Gross!!" Alex said cleaning his lips with the back of his palm. " She's way too innocent for my liking." He said and sighed.

He went to his wardrobe, picked out a red t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans.

" This is good" he said, threw the clothes to the bed and went into the bathroom.

JUSTIN'S HOUSE......

" Aaaaaaaaaaaaah" Justin yelled as he threw his phone to the bed in anger.

" What's wrong sir?" A woman who seemed to be in her late forties asked while adjusting her apron.

" Will you just get out!!" He screamed

" Yes....yes sir" she said in fear and ran out.

" What's wrong Justin?" A lady who seemed to be in Ana's age range walked in.

" Listen Vivi, just go , I'm not in the mood to see anyone" Justin said as he ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.

" Really? Not even your own sister?" She said pretending to be sad.

" Yes. Not even you so just go" he said and proceeded to sit on the bed.

" Come on, you know you can always trust me" she said and poured some water into a glass. " Here, drink this" she said handing him the glass.

" Thanks" he said and gulped the whole glass in one go.

" Now, tell me what's wrong. I've never seen you this upset" she said giving him a reassuring smile.

He sighed, " it's Ana. She doesn't love me back"

Vivi was confused, " who's Ana and how do you know she doesn't love you?"

" Ana is a victim of marital assault....... I've been of help to her these past few days and I fell in love with her in the process. I managed to get her husband arrested and then she went and got him released. I confessed my feelings to her and she told me she only considered me a friend" Justin said.

" What kind of woman is she? What kind of woman releases a man who's always assaulted her?" Vivi asked .

" The kind I love. She's very beautiful you know and it hurts me to know she doesn't love me back" Justin said.

" I feel bad for you bro but you know there are many girls out there who love you and are dying for you" Vivi asked

" Those girls love my money. I want someone who loves me for who I am and not what I am and that woman is Ana. I'm going to get her by hook or crook" Justin said.

" But......"

" You can leave now" Justin said getting infuriated by the conversation.

" Are you asking me out of your room" Vivi asked shocked.

" Yes, now get out" he said and a hurt Vivi ran out of the room.

" Shit!" He hissed and locked the door.

" I don't know who this Ana is but I don't think I like her" Vivi murmured to herself as she left for her room.
