C5 Chapter five

" who is he?" Ana asked referring to Justin.

" Justin Balor, high ranking officer of the martinis" Justin said.

" The martinis, how'd they get involved in all these?" Ana asked tensed or should I say tensed.

" Don't worry ma'am, Mr Justin Balor will handle this" Sonya said.

" Justin Balor? Hold on, as in work renowned actor, musician, Justin Balor?" Ana asked.

" Yup. That's me" Justin said smiling.

" Oh my gosh!! I'm your biggest fan, I've listened to all your songs and I've literally watched all your movies. Can I get a selfie with you?" Ana asked excitedly.

" Sure, anything for my world's biggest fan" Justin said and moved closer to Ana.

" Dang it!"

" What's wrong?" Justin asked

" I don't have my phone here. That means I can't take a selfie with you" Ana said.

" Well, that's no problem. You can take the pictures with my phone" Sonya offered and gave her the phone.

" Thank you Sonya" Ana said smiling.

Click! Click! Click! Click! Click! Click! Click! Click! , The camera went.

" Thank you" Ana said smiling which melted Justin's heart. He had seen many women smile, but this one, it was great.

" Anything for my world's biggest fan" Justin smiled. " Um, can I ask you some questions? The martinis will need it"

" Sure" Ana said.

" What's your name?" He asked.

" Anastasia Hamilton, wife of Alexander Hamilton" she replied.

" How old are you?" He asked.

" 23 but I'll be 24 in a few weeks"

" How long have you been married for?"

" I've been married for three years now" she replied.

" Was it of your own accord or were you forced into it?" Justin asked but Ana didn't reply. " Ana, Ana, are you okay?"

She started sobbing, " I was forced"

" By who? Was it your husband who forced you into this marriage?" Justin asked trying to get Ana to talk.

" My dad" Ana said and burst into tears.

" Miss" Veronica said rubbing her back as a means of consoling her.

" Your dad? Why the f**k would your dad wanna force you into getting married to someone you don't love?" Justin asked.

" Isn't it obvious?" Ana asked. " Alex is the most feared man in the whole of country G. He fears no one so when he came and asked for my hand in marriage, my dad gave it to him even though I begged him not to" Ana said still crying.

" And when you eventually got married, where you ever treated properly?" Justin asked.

" I wish. Alex always hits me at the slightest opportunity he gets. Most times, when he has a fight with his girlfriend, he pours out his frustration on me by hitting me. This is not the first time I have landed in the hospital because of him" she said crying.

" How many times have you landed in the hospital as a result of your husbands' assaults?" Justin asked.

" I think this is the fifth time. Other times, the doctor is called over" Ana said.

" Hmmm. is that all?"

" Yes"

" Miss?" Veronica called giving her the don't lie look.

" Tell him everything, don't be scared." Sonya said.

" I....I... I'm not scared" she swallows. " Who's scared" Ana lied.

" Tell me Ana. What are you hiding from me?" Justin asked.

" Nothing" Ana lied.

" She's lying sir. She didn't tell you that she's had a miscarriage before" Veronica said.

" Tell me Ana. What are you hiding from me?" Justin asked.

Ana swallowed hard. " They are right. I have lost my first child as a result of Alex" Ana said and burst into more tears.
