C1 The Big Day

Elena POV:

Beep..Beep..Beep..Beep!!!!! “ I’m up I’m up…” I Grumble out irritably, searching for my phone to stop that annoying alarm. I sleepily pick up my phone and see it’s 4:30am. I have never been a morning person, I love to sleep in.

I slowly make my way to the kitchen to make my coffee. I’m so glad I prepped the coffee pot last night, It makes it so much easier especially since I am not a morning person. I just need a cup of coffee before I can actually function.

As my kitchen starts to smell of sweet intoxicating coffee, I close my eyes and smile and start thinking of Mr. Hines, my boss. Charles Hines has been more of a father figure to me since I was 19 years old, he is also the CEO of Hines International. Charles has decided he wants to retire and sell his multibillion-dollar tech company to Jaxon Hart CEO of Hart Enterprise.

Mr. Hines which is only in his early 50’s wants to retire and travel with his lovely wife Emma. As much as I am going to miss them, and our weekly family dinners, I know that they deserve this. Emma Hines has had to endure many lonely nights due to Mr. Hines working his butt off to get where he is today. Mr. Hines has always told me that this was his end goal, to sell his company off and finally be the doting husband she deserved. I think it’s sweet, they are like the fairytale couple you read about in story books.

This acquisition has taken a little over a year, but Mr. Hart has never been in the office in person. Ever since this business transaction started, Mr. Hines and Mr. Hart communicated via Zoom conferences due to Mr. Hart being out of the country setting up his newest acquisition in London during this whole crazy process. But today is the big day for Hines International and lil ole me. Today is the day I find out if I am staying or getting thrown out like yesterday’s trash by the new CEO.

Curiosity got the best of me, so I just had to research the infamous Jaxon Hart. What I found out on the internet was that he is 29 and has never been married or been in a long-term relationship per the worldwide web (And we all know how reputable these news feeds are.. So yes, I am taking it with a grain of salt).

It also said Hart Enterprise was established in 1974 and was run by Hudson Hart, Jaxon’s father until he had a stroke 6 years ago. Shortly after His father had a stroke, Jaxon graduated from Harvard with honors and took over the company. It also states that when he acquires a new company, he lets go of over half the employees if not all and does a complete rehaul of the company. So Yeah, you can say my anxiety levels went up a notch after reading this..

There was not much about his mom though, only that her name is Nicole Hart. There was no mention of siblings either. There were a few photos of Jaxon and these blonde bomb shells that ALL looked like Victoria Secret models. They were all tall, beautiful, legs for days, and all very blonde. So, it looks like Mr. Man Whore has a type…The exact opposite of me, so I guess it’s safe to say that my vagina is safe from the greedy pussy monster that is Jaxon Hart. Who am I kidding, my pussy wouldn’t know what to do with a gorgeous man like that anyway.

I found a few interviews as well, but there was one where Jaxon was asked, how he feels about being labeled as GQ’s most handsome eligible billionaire bachelor and if he ever plans on settling down? When he smiled at the camera, I think my heart melted. It was the most beautiful smile I had ever seen in my life. He said he was honored to be chosen for the cover of GQ, but plans on staying a bachelor. He doesn’t do relationships or marriage, then winked at the camera. My thoughts were oh Great a man whore CEO is acquiring Hines Enterprise….

The need for coffee brought me back to reality. I make a quick cup and savor that first sip before I start getting ready for my day. I don’t have enough time to make anything to eat since I have been going down memory lane. I finish off my cup of coffee and slowly start to feel human again… and now off to the shower I go.

That Hot Shower helped my anxiety some, but now what to wear. As I walk around with a towel twisted up in my hair. I start drying off with my big white fluffy towel and swaddle it around me just under my breasts. Since I live alone, I can be a little cheeky and let the girls air dry.

I want to feel a little sexy today, so let’s go with the red lace thong with the matching red lace push up bra and black garter with Sheer black stockings with lace tops.

Sexy Lingerie is the one thing I will splurge on, it makes me feel sexy and a little naughty. I giggle to myself, knowing the only person that will see my fancy undies is lil ole me. But hey, us thick thighed women have to feel sexy to!

After putting on my lingerie I head to my walk-in closet. I decided on a high waisted black pencil skirt with a slit ending just above my mid-thigh. Where you can get a peek at the lace top of my stockings being held in place by my garters. The pencil skirt showcases all my Assets. My long sleeve red form-fitting blouse covers my Double D’s nicely.

As I start putting on my make-up, I think today less is more. I decided on my favorite shimmer eyeshadow, some mascara, and my signature bright red lipstick. The red makes my green eyes pop. My eyes and my hair have always been my favorite features.

As I look in the mirror after I am fully dressed, I think to myself I have come a long way. My Ex-Luke would have made a comment about my outfit and how I need to lose weight. He would also make Damn sure everyone knew how he felt about me. He truly was a grade A douche Bag to the point where he blatantly start flirting and hooking up with other women. Then say it was my fault because I was boring in bed and too fat. I try to keep these thoughts out of my head, but it’s a process for sure. Thanks to the therapist I have been seeing for about 3 years now I have made some progress. I have more self confidence and have a more positive outlook on life. Trust me when I tell you, that you would not have wanted to meet the Elena from 3 years ago. She was pathetic and let everyone walk all over her, but that’s a story for a later time.

Before I walk out the door, I give myself a quick once over to make sure everything is on point. Since I want to make a good impression on the New (Man whore) CEO. I let out a little giggle as I head to the parking garage and start my drive to the office.
