Elena Santos finally seems to have her life together after a horrible childhood and relationship that had left her mentally and physically broken. She still has trouble trusting people except her 3 best friends, Charles & Emma Hines (her surrogate parents). She loves her job and her work family, well except for Olivia which seems to hate her for some reason.

Elena finds out Shes pregnant the day after she catches Jaxon and Olivia in a compromising position in Jaxon's home. Elena sends Jaxon a resignation letter and blocks him on her email and her phone. She utterly heart broken.

She ends up in the hospital and her surrogate parents have taken her to their home to take care of her while she figures out what to do.
