C5 I Won't Leave!
Han Lv raised an eyebrow, looking at the girl across from him with interest. "So, why do you think I would choose you?"
Qin Anan's eyes lit up as she shared her thoughts. "I may not be the most outstanding or beautiful among the candidates, but I can promise I'm the least troublesome. We can team up and live our lives together. If you find someone you truly love later, we can get a divorce."
She had already planned for this possibility when she came today. If possible, she wanted to have a marriage in name only with Han Lv.
"From what you're saying, it sounds like I'd be at a loss. I don't intend to have a marriage in name only," his deep, magnetic voice resonated in her ears.
Hearing this, Qin Anan looked up to see his eyes filled with amusement, which made her heart skip a beat. After a moment of contemplation, she met his gaze. "If you have any other requirements, Mr. Han, feel free to let me know."
When she approached Han Lv, she had already considered what might happen after marrying him. So, when he mentioned not wanting a marriage in name only, she was prepared to accept it. After all, you can't have everything. Since she wanted the Qin family business, she was ready for this marriage with Han Lv.
Han Lv pondered for a moment, then looked at Qin Anan. "The reason I'm considering marriage is because my family wants grandchildren. So, if we get married, having a child right away is a must. Would you be okay with that?"
Qin Anan was a bit surprised by the mention of children. After a brief hesitation, she nodded. "That's fine, but I won't be a stay-at-home mom after the child is born."
Han Lv considered her words for a few seconds, then nodded slightly. "Alright, in that case, I'll let you know my decision tomorrow."
Qin Anan smiled, "Okay, I'll be waiting for your good news."
As night fell and the city lights began to twinkle, the familiar sight of Parasol Villa came into view. Qin Anan returned home at seven, feeling a strange sense of change in the place she had lived for twenty-three years. Once, it had been a warm and happy home, but everything changed when Soong Yaen and her daughter arrived.
With the evening still young and nothing much to do, Qin Anan lounged on the living room sofa, idly scrolling through her tablet. Suddenly, she paused, seeing the news of Tang Yi and Soong Yan's engagement trending on social media. Soong Yan, the rising violin star of the past year, had garnered a massive following online. Her engagement to Tang Yi, a member of one of Lancheng's elite families, was bound to make headlines.
As she processed this, Qin Anan's heart gradually calmed, and she continued browsing the latest updates as if nothing had happened.
When Qin Honglin returned home, he found Qin Anan on the sofa, absorbed in her tablet. Reflecting on recent events, he spoke gently to his daughter, "Anan, the flight is booked for the night after Yan and Tang Yi's engagement."
Hearing this, Qin Anan paused her scrolling and glanced up at him. Without missing a beat, she returned to her tablet, her voice cool, "I'm not leaving. Cancel it."
