She’s not leaving. Why should she? Just because Soong Yan and her crowd don’t like her, she has to pack up and go? No way. If they don’t want her here, she’ll stay just to spite them. Thinking about it, a sarcastic smile crept onto Qin Anan’s face, adding a touch of icy elegance to her delicate features. In the past, she cared about Tang Yi’s opinion and compromised herself, letting Soong Yan manipulate her. Now, she doesn’t care about anyone’s opinion. Why should she compromise herself anymore? Did they really think Qin Anan was a pushover?

Soong Yan thought she could manipulate her and get away with it? Not a chance.

Qin Honglin’s face darkened, his usually refined and handsome features now cold. He was furious thinking about how many contracts the Qin family had lost to Tang’s this month. “If you stay, look at how many deals the Qin family has lost to Tang’s this month. At this rate, we’re heading for bankruptcy.”

Qin Anan raised an eyebrow and chuckled softly. “What’s the big deal? If the Qin’s go under, it’ll give you and your beloved a chance to share some hard times, won’t it?” Soong Yaen always claimed she loved him regardless of his family’s wealth. If the Qin’s collapse, they’ll see what she truly values.

She was curious to see if Soong Yaen was as noble as she claimed or just a pretender.

Qin Honglin was instantly infuriated. “Anan, you’ve really let me down. When did you become so unreasonable?” He couldn’t believe his daughter had changed so much, only knowing how to defy him. The Qin’s precarious situation was all because of her, and she still showed no remorse.

Qin Anan looked up nonchalantly, noticing Qin Honglin's face flushed with anger. She chuckled lightly, “Oh, the Qin business going under? How is that my problem?”

If the Qin business did go bankrupt, the ones most upset would be the Soong mother and daughter. After all, her father had forcefully stripped her of her inheritance rights in their favor. The Soong family cared deeply about the Qin business; their whole reason for coming to the Qin family was for it.

Qin Honglin was taken aback by Qin Anan's indifferent attitude, his anger flaring up. “You ungrateful child, do you really want to see the Qin business collapse?”

What good would it do her if it did? It was infuriating. This daughter seemed to be a curse on him. He regretted not dealing with her when she was little, sparing himself this frustration.

Qin Anan looked at Qin Honglin with an innocent expression. “Dad, you're blaming me wrongly. It was your dear daughter, Soong Yan, who suggested Tang Yi suppress the Qin business.”

When Soong Yaen and Soong Yan arrived in town, Qin Honglin had taken them in as family, looking out for them. Now, shouldn't he be addressing the issue with them? After all, it was his favored daughter who started this.

Tang Yi was only trying to stand up for Soong Yan by undermining the Qin business, so it really had nothing to do with Qin Anan. If he wanted to find the real culprits, he should look to Soong Yan and Tang Yi.
