C10 A Plan to Kill

After leaving the lake where the Wild Boar King was, Yang Pann returned to the cave of the tiger. It was obvious that this place had become his fixed landing point, and the original owner of the cave was still lying in the middle of the cave like a corpse. However, Yang Pann did not plan to move it for a while. After all, it was too tiring.

After entering the cave, Yang Pann walked around the tiger's corpse. The corpse of the wild wolf was still easy to deal with, but he couldn't finish the tiger in a short period of time. Since that was the case, Yang Pann gave up on the idea of dealing with the tiger's corpse and turned around to walk out. He didn't know what he was going to do.

After about an hour, Yang Pann came back from the outside and placed the things in his hand into the cave. He took back a few wooden sticks from the outside. The thickness of the wooden sticks ranged from the thickness of a wrist to the thickness of a finger. There were also many dried branches and dried leaves that he had picked up in the storing space. He planned to use the most ancient method to make a pile of fire.

It was quite tiring for him to make these things. After all, he only had one broken wolf bone pike in his hand. Although it had a sharp edge, it was not particularly sharp. Half of the broken pike was still stuck in the tiger's head, so he couldn't pull it out.

He sat on the tiger's corpse and took the wooden sticks over. He started to deal with the thin wooden sticks. The tip of the thin wooden stick was sharpened into a drill, and the thick wooden stick was cut open from the middle. Then, he dug out a hole on the top of the stick to be used as a drill. After he finished, he could start to drill the wood and get the fire.

After inserting the drill shaft into the groove of the drill board, he put some dry grass, leaves, and wood shavings at the joint between the drill shaft and drill board. Then, he held the drill shaft with both hands and started to rotate it.

After another half an hour or so, smoke started to come out from the groove of the drill board. Seeing this, Yang Pann quickly put the drill shaft aside and poured the remaining ashes in the groove onto the fine grass, leaves, and dried leaves that he had prepared beforehand. Then, he started to blow on the fire.

With Yang Pann's hard work, the fire was successfully lit up. He then took out the firewood from the storing space and placed it aside. Then, he brought the fire in his hand closer to it and lit it up. A bonfire was successfully lit up.

Yang Pann sat beside the fire, holding a branch in his hand. On the branch was a piece of meat the size of a fist. It was the meat that had just been cut off from the tiger's leg. Beside the fire, there were also three or four branches that were also skewered with meat.

While roasting the meat, Yang Pann started to think about how to deal with the Wild Boar King.

Using ordinary methods to deal with this kind of creature was basically useless. It was a fantasy to use poisonous mushrooms to deal with the Wild Boar King. If there was a possibility of it happening, then he would have to use the method passed down by his ancestors, a trap.

As for how to kill the Wild Boar King after the trap worked, it was also a difficult problem. However, when Yang Pann saw the flames on the fire, his eyes suddenly lit up. He thought to himself, "It seems like there's still a way."

Yang Pann had already thought of a way to deal with the Wild Boar King. He planned to go around the area and look for a place to set up a trap later. When he thought of the huge body of the other party, he realized that the place must be big enough to trap the other party. Otherwise, it would be a waste of time if he couldn't trap the other party.

After Yang Pann decided on the next action plan, the tiger meat on the fire was almost done grilling. Yang Pann didn't think too much about it and directly picked up a piece of tiger meat and ate it.

After eating his fill, Yang Pann picked up a long wooden stick beside him. This wooden stick was specially picked out by him. It was about 1.5 meters long, and the body of the stick was straight. The thickness was also very suitable. It was very convenient for him to use it.

Yang Pann picked up the wooden stick and tried to swing it. Then, he directly put one end of the wooden stick into the fire. When the front end of the wooden stick turned black and charred, Yang Pann took it out to grind it.

After repeating this a few times, the front end of the wooden stick had already become black and sharp. The entire wooden stick had become a short wooden spear. Although the tip of the spear was made of wood, the black spear tip had already carbonized after being burned by the flames. Its hardness had already increased. As a defensive weapon, it was enough.

After making the weapon, Yang Pann put the remaining roasted tiger meat into the storing space. Then, he stood up with the weapon in his hand and walked out of the cave.

Looking at the sky outside, Yang Pann felt that it was almost noon. He then returned to the cave and added some firewood to the fire, making sure that the fire would not extinguish for a while before leaving the cave. He was ready to find a place where he could set up a trap to trap the Wild Boar King.

After leaving the cave, Yang Pann began to probe around. In the end, he did not find anything after searching for an entire afternoon. The cave was basically filled with trees, and he did not probe further because the sun was about to set. It was not a wise choice to wander around in the wilderness at night.

As the sun gradually set, Yang Pann returned to the cave. Today was the third day of the Trail World, and tomorrow would be the fourth day. He did not have much time left in the Trial Space.

Seeing that he did not have much fuel left, Yang Pann went out to collect some firewood. After eating a few pieces of roasted tiger meat, he began to rest early in the morning. He was ready to go out early tomorrow morning to continue searching. After all, if he could find a place where he could set up traps earlier, he would have more time to prepare.

The fourth day of the Trial Space.

The next day, Yang Pann went out before dawn. The place he was going to probe was near a small hill. That place was quite far from the cave. He had seen it from afar when he was looking around the area yesterday afternoon.

After two to three hours of trekking, Yang Pann arrived at his destination, the small hill that he had discovered yesterday.

After arriving here, Yang Pann randomly found a place to rest for a while. After eating some food and drinking some water, he began to explore the area. Although this place looked small from afar, it would be discovered that it was really not small when you walked to it.

Hard work paid off. After half a day of probing, Yang Pann really found a place that was suitable to set up a trap. It was a natural pit. It was at the foot of the hill, not too far away from the forest.

Yang Pann came to the surroundings of the pit and looked inside. The entire pit was irregularly round, with a diameter of about seven to eight meters, and a depth of about five meters. Perhaps because it was at the back of the hill, the sunlight did not shine on it much. The entire pit was covered with moss, and it felt very slippery. There were also puddles of water at the bottom of the pit.

After looking at the structure of the pit, Yang Pann felt very satisfied. This pit could be said to be specially prepared for the Wild Boar King. As long as it fell down, it would definitely not be able to climb back up.

However, the size of the pit meant that it would be more difficult to set up a trap. However, this was not a problem. As long as it could trap the beast, it was worth it to spend some effort.

Since he had found a place to set up a trap, Yang Pann did not plan to return to the tiger's cave. His storing space stored a lot of roasted tiger meat, so he could save some for himself. It would not be a problem for him to stay here for three or four days. Moreover, there was water nearby, so he did not have to worry about drinking water.

Yang Pann looked at the huge hole in front of him and started to think about how to set up a trap. The hole was about seven or eight meters wide, and the branches were not that long. Even the ordinary trees were not that tall. Even if he could cut down the trees, he would not be able to cover the hole with them.

After thinking for a while, Yang Pann shook his head and walked towards the forest not far away. All the tools and raw materials he could use were there.

After entering the forest, Yang Pann started to look around for materials that could be used to set up a trap. As expected, after a long time of searching, he found what he wanted in the forest. It was an unknown vine that was coiled around a tree.

The vine that Yang Pann found was not rare in the forest. Although it was not very long, it could still be used by connecting a few of them together. Moreover, the vine's toughness was not bad, and it would not break just by pulling. It could be used to make clothes.

After finding what he needed, Yang Pann spent some time collecting vines in the forest. Then, he went back and forth between the forest and the pit several times. He transported the vines he had collected from the forest to the side of the pit and began to set up traps.
