C2 The Mysterious Store

Yang Pann walked on a small road without any lights. After cleaning up the glass shards on his hair, he used a tissue to cover the wound on his head.

His current appearance could be said to be extremely miserable. His hair and clothes were covered in blood, and his body had a smell of alcohol. It was completely different from when he had just left the house.

"It seems like I have to go to the hospital later." Yang Pann covered the wound on his head and felt the pain on his head and knees. He thought to himself, "But that person probably won't be able to get out of bed for a while."

Those few hits were all unreserved, and they were all aimed at the other party's head. Now, even his knees were injured, so the other party's condition was even worse. He was most likely suffering from a concussion.

Of course, even if the other party really had a serious problem, he was too lazy to care about it. If he wanted to die, he couldn't blame anyone else.

After determining his direction, Yang Pann prepared to go to the nearest hospital to treat the wound on his head. However, at this moment, he suddenly discovered that a shop at the corner of the street was still lit up.

"It's almost 12 o'clock, and it's still open for business." Yang Pann said in surprise. Then, he walked over curiously. He was quite familiar with this area, and he really didn't have any impression of this shop.

And for some reason, he felt that this shop had a mysterious attraction to him.

Yang Pann walked towards a shop at the corner of the street. When he reached the door, he looked up and saw that there was nothing written on the signboard of this shop. The door was indeed made of black wood, and there were many ancient looking willow leaves on it.

Seeing this, Yang Pann became even more curious. He then directly pushed open the black wooden door of the shop and walked in.

As soon as he entered the door, Yang Pann's gaze was attracted by the situation inside the shop.

It was more like a small museum rather than a shop. The things displayed inside were also of all kinds. If one had to say that there was something in common between the things here, then it could only be said that the things here were products of certain movies, games, and novels.

"Is this a dinosaur's claw? It looks quite real."

"This should be the head of an alien. It looks quite scary."

"I think I've seen this knife in that game before."

"Could it be that the things here are all props for movies and games?" Looking at these familiar and strange items, Yang Pann thought.

Yang Pann was very interested in these things. Mainly because he spent most of his time here by relying on these things. Over time, he also developed a sense of yearning towards those illusory worlds.

However, for some reason, he felt a strange feeling when he looked at these items in front of him. It was as if these things in front of him were real.

Thinking about this, Yang Pann shook his head with a smile. He felt that he had really drunk a little too much tonight, and he even started to think about random things.

"Hehe, these things are all real."

Just as Yang Pann was thinking about random things, a woman's voice suddenly came from behind him.

"Although I'm a little surprised, someone actually came here. It seems that you are also someone destined to meet me."

Yang Pann subconsciously looked behind him and saw a woman wearing a very strange outfit. She had already stood behind him.

The other party looked at Yang Pann with a strange gaze, then walked to his side without caring about the blood on his head and the smell of alcohol on his body.

This woman was very beautiful. She looked to be around twenty years old, and she had very soft and long hair that reached her waist. The color of her hair was a rare fiery red, and it was very natural, as if it had not been dyed.

However, the other party's clothes were very strange. She was wearing a heavy windbreaker that looked very hot in this summer night, as if she could not feel the temperature of the air.

Although Yang Pann was a little surprised by her appearance and clothes, he still asked because the strange "fate" in her tone made him very concerned.

"May I ask what you are mainly doing here?" Yang Pann asked as he looked at the items placed in the shop. "Are they movies and games?"

"The surroundings? I thought I told you that everything here is real." The other party's tone became even stranger, "But it doesn't matter if you think so. As for what the main business here is, hmm." The other party paused for a moment as if he was organizing his words, "Hmm, just treat it as some special peripherals."

"Special?" Yang Pann repeated with some doubt, then asked, "Is there anything special about these things?"

He did not care about the contradictory words of the other party. He felt that these special peripherals might really be very interesting things.

Hearing Yang Pann's question made the woman's expression a little conflicted, as if she did not know how to speak.

"I knew I was not good at this. Why did it have to be when I'm on duty?" After hesitating for a while, the woman muttered softly, as if Yang Pann did not exist.

Hearing the woman's words, Yang Pann looked at her with a strange gaze and thought to himself, "Is such a person really suitable for doing business?"

"The most special thing about the things here is that they are all very real, and they are even more real than authentic goods." The other party seemed to be explaining very reluctantly.

"They are more real than authentic goods? Why does it sound like they are selling fake goods?" Yang Pann muttered softly as well.

The other party obviously heard his words, but he ignored him and continued, "Although the items here are not necessarily very valuable, most people will never have the chance to see them in their entire lives."

Yang Pann thought that the other party was bragging, but he did not express any opinion. He had just seen the items, and every one of them was exquisite. In fact, it could be said that the words "even more like authentic items" were not exaggerated at all.

"Are the items here for sale to the public?" Yang Pann asked the other party. He quite liked the items here, and if possible, he really wanted to buy one.

"For sale to the public? Of course not." The woman's head shook like a rattle drum, and her beautiful hair became a little messy. "The items here are only for internal staff. They can only be used for exhibitions to the public."

"That's a pity." Yang Pann said regretfully.

"But…" The other party spoke again.

"But what?" Seeing that there was a turn of events, Yang Pann asked again.

"Although the items here cannot be sold to you, as the "fated person" of this shop, you can give me a souvenir." As he spoke, the other party walked to the only table in the shop and started to search for something from the bottom.

"S souvenir? What is it?" As he spoke, Yang Pann walked to the front of the table and stopped.

"This is it." The other party took out the item from under the table and showed it to Yang Pann.

Seeing this, Yang Pann looked curiously at the item in his hand.

It was a black stone the size of a quail egg. There was a green "∞" symbol in the middle of the stone.

Yang Pann knew the meaning of this symbol. It meant that it was infinite and boundless.

To be honest, this souvenir looked very beautiful. The black surface was very deep, as if it was absorbing all the light in the surroundings. The green "∞" symbol gave people a feeling of hope.

Yang Pann reached out and picked up the souvenir from the woman's hand. It felt heavy and had a sense of texture. After playing with it for a while, he fell in love with this small souvenir.

However, because he had touched the wound on his head before, his hand was also stained with some blood. While playing with the souvenir, he accidentally touched some blood on it.

Looking at the blood on his hand and the souvenir, Yang Pann frowned slightly. He put the souvenir on the table and then took a tissue to wipe the blood on his hand.

During this time, he did not notice that the blood on the souvenir was being slowly absorbed by it. He also did not notice that the woman standing opposite him had a flash of happiness on her face.

After Yang Pann finished wiping his hands, he picked up the souvenir and started to play with it. Although he was a little confused by the bloodstains on the souvenir, he did not care about it.

"Is it really okay to give it to me?" Yang Pann asked in a somewhat happy tone.

"Of course it's for you. It's not something valuable." For some reason, the other party's tone sounded very happy.

"Okay, thank you." Yang Pann nodded and thanked him.

"There's no need to thank me. It's getting late. You should go home. I'm almost done with work." The other party started to ask him to leave.

"Okay, it's getting late." Yang Pann looked at the time and said, "Then I'll go back first. Thank you for your souvenir. Goodbye." After saying that, he turned around and pushed the door open and walked out.

"Goodbye. Fated person."

The moment Yang Pann walked out of the shop, the woman also said goodbye to him. However, Yang Pann felt that the other party's tone was a little strange. There seemed to be a deeper meaning in her words.

He shook his aching head and threw away the strange thoughts in his mind. Then, he prepared to go back to his own place.

Just as he turned around an intersection, he suddenly thought of something. After chatting for so long, he didn't even know the name of the shop. Thinking of this, he wanted to go back and ask.

In the end, when he turned around, he couldn't find any trace of the shop. It was as if the shop had never existed.

A gust of wind blew past, and Yang Pann inexplicably shivered. He touched his pocket and confirmed that the souvenir was still in his pocket. He scratched his head and said, "Looks like I really drank too much tonight."

With that, he shook his head and walked towards his own residence.
