C8 The Right Measures

Sabrina and William stay together trying to find out news about Diego. Diego's parents took the decision and didn't allow William to get close, considering it a betrayal. From that moment on, the Takahashi's friendly relationship with the Halley's was shaken and turned into a business relationship with the right to be completely estranged! And Sabrina hadn't accepted either of their requests!!! But it was the word of honor of the spoiled little golden boy who didn't know how to interpret her claim and no one would listen....

After four months Diego recovered well, but he didn't want to see or speak to Sabrina or William. He asked his parents to move abroad and sent a farewell letter to Sabrina, very disappointed. This made her suffer even more and created a barrier between them. at that moment, her fragility gave way to William's love.

She knew why everything was wrong. After many days of insistence and a proposal, Sabrina agreed to have a relationship with William, which culminated in a fact: William spent the night with Sabrina, making her forget about Diego, an unforgettable night of love at the expense of her brother's accident. Meanwhile, their group of friends were watching, commenting and speculating on how it happened, impressed by everything they saw. He had been quick and sharp indeed. And he had betrayed his best friend. The unexpected happened.

The day dawned, with Sabrina in his arms. When they woke up, they kissed and loved each other once more. And they started dating seriously. Diego reacted little by little, as time went by.

Time passes more quickly when we are hurt or resentful of the facts of life. That was undeniable, in fact. Sabrina and William had a wonderful start, but what starts out wrong ends up more wrong, it never works to do things on top of the suffering of others, Diego didn't leave Sabrina's mind and sometimes she sobbed and found herself thinking about calling or communicating with him to reconcile. Then William sensed wrongdoing, and he began to despair. How could all this really be his new reality? So he decides to break a promise he made at the beginning to keep Sabrina with him.

By lying and manipulating, he controlled her. Just like her father had taught her.

Sabrina began to feel ill and suspicious of things. She didn't feel well and got sick of everything easily.

Sabrina found out she was pregnant. She was desperate... it couldn't be real. Her bright future was ruined!!! Her father could never find out.

Cassandra and Amara were furious when they found out.

Like William, she wanted an abortion. But his parents and her mother wouldn't allow it - would they get rid of the children? The two end their relationship full of hurt and jealousy, regretting ruining each other's lives with it.

Sabrina hated him for destroying her future, and now she had a connection. Cassandra and Amara come up with a solution.

" Sabrina will spend the next nine months at my mother's house in Catalonia, Spain. No one will know. And William and she can ignore each other's existence. I'll manage."

Cassandra had a terrible dream and had a Machiavellian plan in mind.

Sabrina begrudgingly dropped out of college and started transferring to another one in Spain, and began to sigh with love and sadness for Diego. On one of his temporary returns home, he learns what happened, and one of their mutual friends gives him Sabrina's number. But Diego didn't want to reconnect, he wanted revenge in the worst possible way.

The days passed, and in about the fifth or sixth month, Diego agreed to meet her in person. It surprised him in an exaggerated way. She didn't look as stunning as he remembered.

The meeting took place in a cheap little hotel, where they had a coffee and caught up. They spent a few days together having fun and making everything easier.

Diego used her. He made love to her and was rude to her in her most fragile moment.

" Well, now that I've really said goodbye to you, I have to go. Goodbye."

" how dare you. Diego?"

" Know one thing, darling. Now you'll know what it's like to be alone in your most fragile moment. I'd stay with you. But you're carrying another man's baby. And I can't tolerate that."

"You used me..."

" As if you didn't know that everything between us would be casual, beautiful. I'm just returning the favor about our friendship back there. Sabrina. "

It struck her like a bolt of lightning. Diego left without saying goodbye. Sabrina's little world was shaken once again.

She cried and was consoled by Amara, who told her not to worry about men anymore. This further damaged her fragile health and led to her being hospitalized. She hated this pregnancy even more and signed a document with her mother giving up the twins.

At the end of the seven months, Sabrina was in a very bad way and couldn't hold the pregnancy together. There was a serious accident, which led to complications, and the delivery was a rushed, urgent caesarean section, complicating the health of the mother of the babies. Sabrina went into forced bed rest, in a complex state. Cassandra was present when the children were born and took on all the responsibility, since Sabrina had been in seclusion all those months in Spain with her on enforced bed rest. The first to come out was a little girl with fair skin and rosy cheeks, with brown hair like her mother's. The other had dark skin with William's complexion, ruddier cheeks and dark hair of a shade closer to black with reddish highlights. This last one was rejected by everyone, the doctors, the grandmothers...the strange group heard the two children crying happily and sadly at the same time. which one? there were two girls. the head nurse was called and went to the nursery and ended up listening to Queen Amara and Cassandra arguing:

"Here's the result. Cassandra, my daughter is very ill and we have two girls without a mother. No one can know that these girls exist... what should we do now? "

"Leave it to me. I'll raise the girl. The other one I'll send far away, to die alone, without pain... this one won't live long. The doctor says she's too weak. And since we can't stay here for long, I'll take care of everything, don't worry. Your innocent mother won't lose her life being a mother without love, without pain, without sadness..."

"Cassandra... what are you going to do? You're not going to kill the youngest, are you? She's innocent, she's just a baby!"

"No! I'm just going to make sure that nobody messes with it any more... let's at least give it a good name... the eldest will obviously be taken by me and will be called... Celina Margareth, while this one, the youngest, will be called... Mayara Angelina."

"I never want to see your family again, or my granddaughters, and it's a sin what we're going to do, Cassandra." Sabrina's mother leaves the hall and goes to stay with her daughter. " I hope your life is good. I'll wash my hands of it."

William was indifferent to his daughters when Cassandra called to tell him about them and he went into a state of total shock and became colder than ever. Sabrina didn't want to know either. Cassandra took charge of the situation, sending her son's ex-girlfriend home after recovering from childbirth, but complications worsened her condition. William swore in front of his mother never to love again. She separated the twins. Weeks passed, and she judged the girls' appearance. Celina had the profile of a European princess. like her mother. and Mayara looked, well, like an Indian girl, very dark, and perhaps she would surpass her sister in weeks...then, an old friend of Cassandra's called Iara, who took pity on the girl, and loved her, saw that Mayara was the one destined...for what was a mystery...she disguised herself as a beggar, and showed up at the Halleys' country house. Cassandra received her quickly, eager for advice. She was direct and quick. Opening her eyes, Iara argued with Cassandra.

"Separate them, finally. Don't worry, though. She'll be fine, ma'am... Leave her at Santa Helena, and take your favorite. Nothing will change, I promise you, no one will notice the difference, nor will the two of you know about each other's existence. The two of you will only meet if necessary, and to save the world from the darkness of the mafia, ma'am. Celina, you're free from recklessness...., you won't be the chosen one of a harsh fate... you'll be fortunate and blessed against being mistreated. The other, Angelina, will be the mistreated one, the one who suffers and is excommunicated from society... and the answer to the woes of so many...she is the one who will fight the mafia and the darkness...the magical lineage of your family, Mrs. Halley is in your renegade granddaughter...I warn you, when she returns, she will take revenge for what you do to her...she is the most powerful of all the women in your family. She will go where you have never gone. She will come and, together with her sister, she will take revenge on her father, on all those who have wronged him. And it will be nobler than if she were of blood... now she looks sick and dead to you... conjure her now, if you don't want her to curse you forever..."

" I don't want a sick granddaughter who may only live a short time. Get rid of her. Well, the Greeks did that to children who wouldn't be good citizens. You can't judge me."

" And this Cassandra, in the name of supposed well-being, isn't it? you're afraid of everything... you did the same with William's twin Théo. One day you'll be found out and punished."

Cassandra turns to her with blood in her eyes.

" Don't you dare talk about it. Or you'll pay dearly. You were paid very well at the time to bury the boy. He died hours after he was born because of it."

Cassandra looks at her granddaughter Celina. And Yara shakes her head in the negative, in front of an astonished Cassandra with her favorite granddaughter in her arms. Then she set off across Spain, abandoning her rejected granddaughter. The dark-skinned girl was left in an old basket with shabby baby clothes in front of an orphanage in the Spanish countryside called Santa Helena, then Cassandra disappeared over the horizon with the family's only granddaughter, claiming that the youngest was born sick and died. She believed she had done the right thing, but the truth is never hidden, hidden forever.
