C6 Sun and Moon Stone

The flying scorpion lion looked down at the thousands of lesser demons that had just arrived, wondering if it should catch a lesser demon and eat it alive to make an example for others.

To the great disappointment of the Sky Scorpion Lion, even though there were many lesser demons below, they all stood still and still. The sound of the wind blowing on the mountain of Ding Mountain could no longer be heard, it was as if there were tens of thousands of horses gathered there, completely silent.

"In the future, you will need to use your blood and even your life to protect the burning Flaming Cloud Stone, and those despicable disciples will use the Flaming Cloud Stone as the best furnace to control alchemy and even smithing, so the only reason why you have come from so far away is because you want to occupy our Ding Mountain and dig out the Flaming Cloud Stone. How can we, the Ancestral Gods and Demons, hand over the Demon Mountain that was passed down by our ancestors to us?

As it spoke, the Flying Scorpio Lion felt its righteousness. It was completely different from its usual viciousness, so much so that its skin was itchy and its blood was tingling. It quickly retreated, no longer continuing to teach those lesser demons a lesson.

The heat from the scattering Flamecloud gem was finally fading, and the fragrance coming out of the cauldron was getting stronger and stronger, making the lesser demons salivate.

Eighteen escalades were quietly erected around the cauldron. There were eighteen tunnels that led to delicious food.

A few lesser demons tried to climb the ladder, but the remaining heat from the Flamecloud gem was still as hot as before. Layers of heat waves swept out, burning the lesser demons to the point that they jumped up and down, unable to climb the ladder.

After a while, the heat around the cauldron had been greatly reduced, and the lesser demons were eager to give it a try again.

Yang Qiu felt empty in his stomach. He couldn't help but rush up the ladder and into the pot to have a big meal. However, he was stopped by Jiang Feng, who was quick on the uptake.

"Why are you pulling me? I'm hungry!" Yang Qiu's eyes lit up with a green light, as if he was a completely different person.

"The first person to have eaten such a big meal must be a hero. You want to be a hero?" Jiang Feng asked.

"What's wrong with being a hero, you'll be the first one to have a feast!" Yang Qiu was a bit impatient.

"However, heroes usually do not end up well. If they don't end up being dismembered by the enemy or were betrayed by their comrades, they will die in prison due to grievances." Jiang Feng advised.

"Who told you that?" Yang Qiu seemed to feel that this made sense.

"The Hero's Biography." Seeing that Yang Qiu was no longer impulsive, Jiang Feng released his grip.

As Jiang Feng and Yang Qiu were talking, a group of lesser demons finally couldn't hold themselves back anymore. They stared at the heat wave as they climbed up the ladder.

The ladders were made of metal, upon grabbing it, the lesser demons cried out endlessly and fell from the sky, but a few incomparably ferocious lesser demons endured the scald wounds on their hands and climbed up high, seeing the huge pot of fat and juicy beast meat dancing in excitement, they leapt and jumped into the cauldron.

The lesser demons looked on with envy at the lesser demons that were leaping down from the sky. They were ready to make a move as well.

A few muffled wails came out from the cauldron, not a single sound could be heard.

The lesser demon beneath the cauldron once again fell into silence, not knowing what was happening within the cauldron.

"Those lesser demons must have been scalded to death by the boiling oil in the wok. They should be cooked thoroughly by now." Jiang Feng smiled bitterly.

"Looks like being a hero is indeed very dangerous." Yang Qiu nodded.

"The sages have clouds, and generals who take the lead end up like corpses wrapped in horsehide. Only generals who are in charge can have a good ending." As Jiang Feng said this, an idea flashed through his mind. He knew how to obtain a chance at survival in this tragic battlefield.

In the end, the lesser demons calmed down from the chaos and patiently waited. After all, the previous example was still there, and jumping into the cauldron was not something they could eat.

In less than an hour, a strange rumble came from the cauldron like rolling thunder, followed by a large piece of cooked meat that was covered in fat oil flying into the air and falling down in all directions.

The lesser demons fought excitedly over the incoming meal. Yang Qiu jumped even higher and flew towards a piece of leg meat.

Jiang Feng did not join in the battle for the meal as he silently pondered.

This cauldron seemed to have intelligence, it could act on its own. He had always heard the pig-headed monster say that the cultivators of the sect stole Ancestral God Mountain and crystals just to refine magic tools. Could it be that this pot was actually a magic tool?

The mountain of Ding Mountain was in a mess, chunks of meat danced in the air, and the Little Demoness who was crazily fighting for it even emitted strange rumbling sounds from time to time, while Jiang Feng himself stood there motionlessly, like a gigantic rock that had existed since time immemorial, as he blended into the world.

"Little guy, you're in meditation!" A hand patted Jiang Feng's shoulder.

Jiang Feng came back to reality from his thoughts. His gaze fell on the shriveled hand on his shoulder. He turned around and saw a grey-haired old demon talking to him.

If it were any other lesser demons, they might not even care about such an old demon. However, Jiang Feng's eyes lit up as if he was looking at a treasure.

In Jiang Feng's opinion, for an old demon that didn't have much combat strength to be able to survive in such a cruel battlefield, it must be a miracle.

"Sprite, Jiang Feng, what's your name?" Jiang Feng asked respectfully.

"Call me Old Black." The lesser demons were all snatching the chance to enjoy the feast. What were you thinking, standing there in a daze? You probably became a demon from the stimulation of Demonic Strength s on your acupoints, you are still young, there shouldn't be too much on your mind. " The old demon looked Jiang Feng up and down and asked with interest.

"It's nothing. I feel that this cauldron seems to be a magical equipment. Besides cooking food, it should have other uses." Jiang Feng answered honestly.

"It's rare to see a little demon with such good eyesight like you." "You guessed right. This cauldron is indeed a high-grade magic tool. Aside from cooking, it can also absorb the essence of the sun and moon, condensing them into a strange crystal, the Sun Moon Stone." Laohei looked at Jiang Feng in praise.

"Sun Moon Stone!" Jiang Feng seemed to be able to understand some of the mysteries behind the name of this crystal stone.

"It's extremely difficult to condense this Sun Moon Stone. It's taken decades for me to condense one. It's comparable to the immortal pills in the sect. However, only the Demon Kings know the exact use of it, so it is impossible for us small demons who are just cannon fodder to know. " Old Black sighed.

"So the cauldron is actually a pill furnace. Interesting." Jiang Feng looked at the huge pot and smiled.

"Be it a human or a demon, they are both pill furnaces. The ordinary Elixir are external pills. The pellet that suits one's life is the internal pellet. The golden pellet path, experience it for yourself." Leaving those words behind, Laohei limped out.

"I am also an alchemy furnace. What is a fire, what is the raw material, and what kind of inner pellet can I make?" Jiang Feng once again fell into deep thought and explored the path to longevity of the Jindan by himself.
