There were a total of two hundred servants in the manor. Apart from a few dozen maids, the rest of them were servants, gardeners, cooks, etc. There were not that many people usually.

The General's Estate had set down a rule that only after serving the General his lunch would the servants be able to have their lunch. This rule was unnecessary to begin with. As the general had affinity with him
