C1 You Are Mine!

In Tottenham, New York.

After Lauren entered the presidential suite of the Hilton Hotel, she felt that something was wrong.

In the room, the warm yellow light flowed, and a faint halo sprinkled on the man standing in front of the French window.

He was drinking, his fingers holding a wine glass. His slender body leaned against the glass, and his lips were lightly pursed. His handsome face looked like it had been carved out of a godly work of art. Looking from the side, his outline was clear and flawless.

At this moment, his gaze was focused on the window. He seemed to be in deep thought. His dark jade-like eyes slightly swirled, and in an instant, a mysterious and deep light appeared. It was like a whirlpool, cold but attractive.

Suddenly, Lauren felt as if she had seen a cold aura emitting from this man. Especially his eyes. If she was stared at, she would immediately become his prey, or even submit to him.

This was an excellent and terrifying man!

What exactly was going on?

She had already checked the room three times. It was indeed the hotel address that her fiancé, Duncan, had given her before she went offline!

But why was it that this was a strange man?

Lauren frowned and took two steps back timidly. She asked the man in English, "May I ask... Is Duncan here?"

Hearing the question, the man's hand paused for a moment, then he took another sip of his red wine. He slowly turned around, as if he had locked onto a prey. He moved his feet and stood in front of her.

It was so high!

It was not the same height. Lauren had to raise her head to see his face.

Moreover, this man gave off a strong sense of oppression. His eyes were as deep as the sea, and he looked down at her lazily as if he was sizing her up.

After a long time, his thick eyebrows slightly raised, and his sexy thin lips curved into an evil smile. He said, "You are the woman he gave to me?"

His voice was magnetic and pleasant to the ears, but his tone was cynical.

"What?"

Lauren looked at him in surprise, not understanding what he meant.

The man seemed to sneer, and his eyes were filled with ridicule. "Didn't your fiancé tell you that he sold you to me?"

"What?"

Lauren did not react for a long time. When she came back to her senses, she could not help but say angrily, "Sir, although I don't know who you are, I hope you can behave yourself and don't make such a meaningless joke!"

"A joke?"

The man raised his eyebrows in displeasure at Lauren's words.

"Do you think you are worthy of my joke?"

He narrowed his eyes and smiled a little wickedly, but he gave off a very dangerous feeling.

Lauren was slightly shocked, but she was also a little angry. She could only take out her phone from her pocket and dial Duncan's number.

She wanted to personally ask Duncan what was going on.

She came all the way overseas to find him, but she didn't expect to meet this strange and charming man before she even saw him. He even said a bunch of strange words.

Just as Lauren was anxiously waiting for two seconds, the phone rang.

Her heart suddenly became uneasy. She did not give up and dialed the number a few more times, but the notification was the same. She was unable to connect.

"How could this be …"

Lauren glared at her phone angrily, but at the same time, she looked at the man in front of her with a flustered expression.

Was it really as he had said, Duncan had sold him out?

Lauren shook her head with all her might and kept stepping back. "No! There must be some misunderstanding. Duncan wouldn't do this to me. I have to ask him in person."

Lauren still believed that Duncan would not do this to her.

But even she didn't realize that her tone was already uncertain.

"Oh? So three years of relationship is so valuable, 50 million?"

The man laughed a little recklessly. "However, after tonight, it's not too late to ask him slowly."

As he spoke, his strong arm had already wrapped around her waist, like an iron chain, and she was completely unable to move.
