C7 Let Me Go!

Lauren was running so fast that she tripped and almost fell to the ground.

She was panicking and her face was pale. As she ran, she looked back at the group of men in black who were chasing after her. The only thought left in her mind was that she must not be caught!

However, no matter how much effort she put in, the footsteps behind her kept shortening the distance between them.

"You guys surround her from the other side. No matter what, you have to catch her!"

The shouts were like thunder in her ears. The men in black behind her suddenly scattered and surrounded her from all directions.

Lauren's heart skipped a beat. She knew that if she continued running like this, she would definitely be captured.

In her panic, she turned around and ran into a dark alley.

The alley was very dark. She ignored everything and ran through it. She accidentally dropped her shoes and even dropped her luggage on the ground.

"Ah!"

Lauren screamed and stopped in her tracks. She turned around and tried to pick up the box.

However, the men in black were approaching. She had no choice but to continue running with her head down.

In the next half an hour, Lauren kept running back and forth in the alley. Because the road was too rough, her feet were soon covered in big and small blisters. It was unbearable.

In the end, she couldn't run anymore. She was out of breath and her vision was black.

"Lauren, run! The street is right in front of us. When the time comes, we will find someone to ask for help …"

She kept telling herself in her heart, but her legs, which were as heavy as lead, slowed down.

The night became darker and darker. The black curtain was as black as mud, but the heavens did not favor her. At this moment, a thunderclap exploded from the sky. The silver fox's lightning seemed to tear the sky apart.

Ten minutes later, cold raindrops fell from the sky and fell on her body.

The rain wet her face and clothes. Lauren was pulled back to her senses. She felt a chill from the inside out.

The house was in a bad situation. She smiled bitterly and dragged her exhausted body forward. In the end, she fell heavily to the ground.

A heart-piercing pain came from her palm. Lauren's face was pale. She lay on the ground and gasped for air. Before she could get up, she was blocked by the group of men in black.

"I didn't know you could run so well. It's a pity that you can't run anymore …"

The leader of the men in black spat on the ground and cursed.

They had chased after Lauren for half an hour, but they couldn't take it anymore. If she hadn't been out of breath, they might have lost her.

Seeing the ferocious faces in front of her, Lauren's eyes finally fell into fear and despair.

She wanted to struggle up, but it was as if all her strength had been drained. She could only protest weakly, "Don't come over..."

"How can we do that? If we don't capture you and bring you back, we won't have any money to take..."

The man in black snorted disdainfully and waved his hand at his companions behind him. "Take her back!"

"Don't... let me go..."

Lauren's voice was filled with pleading as tears once again flowed out of her eyes.

However, the burly man ignored her completely. He violently dragged her up from the ground and carried her out of the alley with both of his arms.

Lauren wanted to struggle, but she no longer had any strength left.
