C1 I Owe You

Fianna had thought of a hundred scenarios where she would meet Lowell, but she never thought that she would meet him again five years later, at the time when she was at her most vulnerable.

During the banquet, Fianna was forced to drink by the people from the company, but she could only accept her fate and drink one cup after another. Who asked her to ask for help?

She found an excuse to go to the bathroom to vomit, so that she could wake up a little more. The contract had not been signed yet, and her mission had not been completed yet. If she did not get this deal tonight, her bonus for this month would probably be gone.

After putting on her makeup and regaining her professional smile, Fianna opened the door and walked out. She brushed shoulders with a man in the corridor.

Damn it, wasn't that man Lowell just now?

Fianna quickly walked forward and returned to her own private room, praying that Lowell did not see her.

However, if Fianna turned around, she would find that Lowell had been staring at her back until she walked back to her private room.

It was so lively that it was almost one o'clock in the morning. The banquet finally ended, and the contract was successfully signed.

Fianna was already a little drunk. The manager volunteered to send her home, but she rejected him. Fianna knew what the manager was thinking about, but she could only endure it silently because she had no other choice.

She forced herself to get up and walked to the door, but she could not even find the shadow of half a taxi at the door. Fianna could only walk forward and see if she could stop the taxi, but she found that there was a car following her from the hotel entrance.

Seeing the familiar face reflected in the car window, Fianna felt sad mixed with a hint of happiness. So he still saw her.

Fianna was still not prepared to face Lowell, nor did she want to face him. She could only walk forward, hoping to stop the taxi and leave. In her anxiety, she stumbled and fell to the ground. Fianna could only stop and rub her feet.

Just like that, Lowell followed Fianna from the entrance of the hotel. She was fast, and he was also fast. She was slow, and he was also slow. He just didn't show up until Fianna's ankle was injured. Only then did he get out of the car to check on her.

When Lowell walked in front of Fianna and saw her face covered with thick makeup, he immediately swallowed his words of concern. However, when he opened his mouth, his words were cold.

"So the Tang family has already declined to such a state. Ronan even let you come out to sell yourself."

Fianna's heart trembled. Was this her Lowell? He was still as tall and handsome as before, and he had a bit more charm of a mature man. He was less childish than before, but this kind of mockery came out of his mouth. Fianna could not accept it.

Thinking about it, he did hate her. She was the one who gave him a promise and broke it. She was the one who let him down.

"Why? Five years ago, you dared to betray me, and now you're a mute?"

Fianna was not a person who would lower her head and give in. She held back her tears and stubbornly raised her head to look at him. She said word by word, "I am willing to come out and sell my smile. What does it have to do with you? What relationship do we have? Why are you criticizing me?" He said that he could, but what right did he have to involve Elder Brother Ronan? Elder Brother Ronan had already done so much for her.

After being chided by her, Lowell suddenly lost his words. The two of them remained silent, and even the air was filled with awkwardness. In the end, Lowell was the one who spoke first.

"Where do you live? I'll send you home so that you won't be hit to death on the street in the middle of the night. I still need to help you inform Ronan so that he can see what you look like now."

Fianna's tone was full of sarcasm. Back then, she had taken the initiative to give up on her. Now, it was her fault for being heartless. However, Lowell immediately realized that he still didn't want to admit that she was related to Ronan. He was asking her where she lived, not where her home was.

Fianna was stunned. She didn't expect that Lowell would take the initiative to send her home. She was used to nodding, but when she heard Lowell's sarcastic tone, her heart turned cold. Indeed, he had the right to mock her now.

Furthermore, thinking about it, she had nothing to do with Lowell anymore. She had already owed him enough, so she didn't want to owe him anything anymore. Besides, it was better for her to cut ties with him as soon as possible.

She was no longer worthy of him. He deserved a better one. With this thought, Fianna immediately rejected Lowell and said in a cold tone.

"No need. We have nothing to do with each other anymore. I'll take a taxi home. Also, thank you for your concern, but there's no need for that. I can't take it."

Lowell did not expect her to reject him like this. Although his tone was a bit harsh, it was nothing compared to what he had done to her. Lowell was immediately angered and said, "Fianna, you owe me, not me. You better understand this."

Fianna muttered to herself, "Lowell, yes, I owe you."
