C19 You Bad Person!

Standing beside Soong Dabao, Soong Erbao was a sight to behold. Releasing Dabao's hand, he dashed towards Ye Qingchuan and gave him a forceful shove. Unfortunately, his little strength was no match for Qingchuan, who remained unmoved.

Undeterred, Erbao pushed again, but to no avail; Qingchuan simply didn't get it.

Frustration painted Erbao's face a deep shade of red, his eyes seemingly accusing, "You're the bad guy, and you can't talk about my mom like that!"

Soong Dabao, fearing Qingchuan might harm Erbao, quickly pulled his brother behind him, eyeing Qingchuan with a protective wariness.

Ye Qingchuan gazed down at the two children, who returned his look with hostility, his cool gaze as serene as still water.

Dabao and Qingchuan stood in a silent standoff.

Eventually, Dabao led Erbao upstairs. Once their figures vanished, Qingchuan pulled out his phone and made a call, "Go, inform Soong Qingyue that the kids are with me."

Soong Qingyue wandered the streets without direction.

She had combed through every possible location near the Soong family home, yet there was no sign of Dabao or Erbao.

Crouching at the roadside, Qingyue buried her head in her knees.

"Dabao, Erbao, where have you gone? Mommy's so worried about you!"

Her voice was a soft sob, whisked away by the breeze.

Then, suddenly, her phone lit up.

She had already asked Si Jinyu to assist in the search.

Could it be that Jinyu had some news?

Soong Qingyue hastily wiped her tears, a glimmer of hope shining in her eyes.

Checking her phone, she saw an unfamiliar number with a message: "If you want to find the children, come to Cloud Villa."

Soong Qingyue's pupils contracted sharply.

Cloud Villa!

That was the marital home she shared with Ye Qingchuan, the same home Qingchuan had intended for Soong Qingrou's wedding.

It had to be Qingchuan!

Without a second thought, Qingyue scrambled to her feet, hailed a cab, and headed straight for Cloud Villa.

By the time she arrived, it was nearing eleven o'clock.

Cloud Villa lay shrouded in darkness.

Soong Qingyue pounded on the villa's iron gate, her voice ringing out, "Ye Qingchuan, please give me back Dabao and Erbao! They're innocent; you can't do this to them!"

"Ye Qingchuan! If you just return Dabao and Erbao to me, I swear I'll never show my face to you again. Isn't my blessing for you and Soong Qingrou enough?"

"Ye Qingchuan..."

From the second floor, Ye Qingchuan watched Soong Qingyue, who seemed to have lost her mind, desperately trying to break open the gate with her slight frame. His gaze was icy, utterly unmoved by her display.

Eventually, Soong Qingyue ceased her frantic pounding, wrapping her arms around herself as she stood forlornly at the entrance to Cloud Villa.

Abruptly, the lights on the second floor of Cloud Villa flickered on.

Not long after, Soong Qingyue saw Ye Qingchuan's tall silhouette approaching her, his face bearing an expression of indifference, tinged with a discernible trace of disgust.

Soong Qingyue seized his arm, pleading, "Mr. Ye, I implore you, please give me back Dabao and Erbao."

Ye Qingchuan gave her hand a cursory glance before shifting his gaze to Soong Qingyue's face. He forcefully shook off her grasp and said with icy detachment, "Who told you the children were in my care?"

Soong Qingyue hastily retrieved her phone and showed him the message, "Wasn't it your message?"

Ye Qingchuan let out a scornful laugh, "Soong Qingyue, it seems three years in prison have dulled your memory of who I really am."

Ye Qingchuan.

The resolute and decisive CEO of Ye's Group.

How could she forget?

She had loved him for a decade, after all!

"Do you really think that if those two bastards were in my hands, they'd still be alive for you to find? That I'd be so benevolent as to invite you here?"
