Joan sighed out in relief as she entered her home. The saying 'You never know what you have until you lose it.’ really applied to her that day. Though she ended up not losing anything, the events of that day really moved her. She had not realized how much she relished stepping into her home after a long school day, how much she loved jumping into her bed and getting a good sleep
