C4 Chapter 4

What the fuck just happened, I stared at the scene as I hit my hand on my Audi steering in anguish. I was so far away I could barely do anything as I saw two men come out and grab the girl Lena was tailing.

Then after a few seconds, I saw Lena ride her bike through them and they all fell. Not too long then men came out and Lena was knocked out before I could react they already carried both of them away in a black van.

After thinking about it for a while I decided that what I could do was to follow the car at a safe distance so as not to be seen.

They drove all the way, over 500km and I also tailed them carefully until they arrived at an uncompleted building.

After some minutes that the men got down from the van, I also alighted and went closer to them.

I overheard the men talking about leaving first thing the next day, and I also heard one of the men called the girl who Lena was tailing as his daughter.

What the fuck, how can a father do that to his daughter, like he prolly got her kidnapped and now is planning to give her out like some godamn present?

That's when I knew that I had to do something.

Even though I didn't know the girl and I wasn't that close with Lena. They were both students at my school. I can't just see this and ignore it.

Even though deep down I knew that I'm doing this because Lena was involved.

I quickly went back to my car unnoticed and drove out of the uncompleted building, I looked around the area if it was a familiar place so I can report the incident to the nearest police station.

After careful scrutiny, I saw that the place wasn't familiar but I could see a sign board that showed “turn right to the police station” I instantly felt gush of relief washed through me.

Thank God for whoever thought of that idea!

I immediately went straight right, shortly after I saw the police station and saw that I actually knew the police station because I've heard my mum talking about the sheriff.

One of those people that always comes to my dad’s house for donations for the organization.

Immediately I got inside, I narrated everything I saw some minutes ago to them and asked for immediate action.

The police doubted me at first until I told them who I was then they suddenly wanted to help.

I knew it wasn't out of duty but because my dad always donates huge amounts to the force.

I wasn't even bothered about it, I just want them to take immediate action and go with me to rescue Lena.

Shortly after about seven policemen followed me, one sat in my car and the other six took police vehicles.

Then we all went back to the uncompleted building, we then parked at the same place I packed my earlier because it was a safe distance.

“Mr. Leonard, will you please stay in the car? We will go and rescue them, ” One to the police met said to me.

“No, I'm not staying in the car. You either bring me along or I will go after you, you can pick a choice.”

I knew they wouldn't want me to go after them, that was why I said that.

“Mr. Leonard, please this is for your safety, ” The policeman argued.

I instantly threw a gaze at him and frowned because I wasn't used to not getting my way, “I gave you a choice, pick one. If anything happens to those girls while you are delaying. I will make sure you pay for it, ” I said to the policeman in a cold voice.

Why is he so full of nonsense?

That definitely made him shut the hell up as we took the backroad.

Even though it was a gamble I was willing to take it, I had guessed they wouldn't know about it and they didn't.

Shortly after we arrived I gave them directions on where to go in the building. One police man stayed with me and we had to search the whole building.

They had stun guns with them because this was not a mission to kill or raise alarm in the city.

Not long, we arrived at the exact building, I peeped and saw a man guarding the door, he was unguarded.

Horrible people! How could they kidnap little girls and hold them hostage!

I was so enraged!

They even had to kidnap Lena too!

Did they know who she was! If her parents were alive, those people would never live this out.

Okay, I guessed they were inside, I nodded at the policemen and pointed at the house.

The policeman who was well trained in combat immediately dived and tackled the man to the ground, and with the same swiftness as the man’s body hit the ground, the policeman brought out his stun gun and connected it on the neck of the man.

The man instantly became dizzy, the policeman quickly wrapped a cloth around his mouth to prevent him from raising the alarm to his colleagues.

When we dragged the man into the room, I saw that the room was dark with poor lighting, the only source of light was from an almost burnt-out candle.

At one end I saw the two of them, Lena and the girl she was tailing, so we put his unconscious body on the other end, after properly tying him up and then gagging him again.

It wasn't long when we heard footsteps like someone was approaching, so the policeman gestured for me to stay inside while he went to check it out.

After he left, I quickly helped the girls with their ropes and got them to stand.

When I was about to help Lena she protested that I shouldn't not touch her but I was too in a hurry to listen to her so I ignored her and helped her stand on her feet.
