C14 Gone Mad

Roger hardly clenched his fist and gritted his teeth after being left no choice to Coach’s final decision. Roger’s great disapproval towards me outburst.

After the wonderful news, we went out of the room with lighter feet full of cheering and whooping. Some of our co-players also joined.

“Don’t ever think I will let you pass this one, Mcwell. I’ll let you indulge for the meantime being at the top but just so you know, the card was mine.” Roger murmured.

Porter also heard his threats. He only grinned at me after we exchanged glances.

When we reached the lobby, I saw Ina, busy with her girl friends chatting. I immediately ran towards her and surprise her with a kiss.

“Hey!” She surprisingly said.

“I am the captain!” I replied in a straight line. “Hi.” I grinned and waved my hands to the girls.

“Wow, congratulations! I am happy for you. But, what about Roger? How does he handle it?”

“Nah. It doesn’t matter. How about dinner tonight, just the two of us. I’ll ask my boss for a leave in the clinic.”

“Okay.”

“Thanks! See you at seven?” I immediately gave her a kiss on the forehead and left.

“Eight!” Her postscript replied.

During the practice, Roger always finds a way to provoke my gameplay but he failed because of Porter and Kevin who’s blocking his way.

I am enjoying the ambiance.

After the exhausting practice, I brought Porter with me to the house. I didn’t anticipate that we met him here and all of a sudden, he will be staying now.

He has no extra clothes with him so I just let him borrowed mine. Afterward, he went to Roger’s house to proceed with the plan.

Meanwhile, I was left in the house busy preparing for my first true date with Ina. The last time was undesirable as I left her at the party.

I couldn’t help myself but grinned every second.

“Hey, is your cousin-friend leaving too soon?” Mom asked.

“No, mom, he is just doing some errand. He’ll be back later.”

She then went in and helped me soothing up with my formal wear. I felt nervous when my mom helped me.

“So, is this about Ina?”

I flushed immediately.

“Umm, yeah. We were just going to have dinner, mom.” I am grinning from ear to ear.

“Hahaha, you defensive moron! I am just going to say, enjoy the dinner. That’s all.”

After he inserted the hem of my polo in my waist, she gently patted my back.

“Thanks, mom! I have to go.” I grinned and descended to the garage.

Moving on, Porter arrived at the rooftop of Roger’s house. He’s with some of his friends, having a barbecue party and a few drinks.

Porter was truly a well-experienced werewolf as he can jump from one place to the other without noticing.

“Hey bro, I just want to get some beer in the fridge,” Roger said.

Unbeknownst, Porter was heeding their every move in the house. And he shifted into a wolf right away.

As Roger was getting a beer, Porter already posted behind him, growling.

Roger was in a daze. He slowly put some can of beers back to the fridge. He released an extreme breath and slowly turned around the one-eighty degree.

To his surprise, Porter was already standing a few steps in front of him, showing some extreme aggression.

He opened his mouth showing the sharpened fangs and scratched his claws to the tiles to create a poaching sound.

With his terrifying eyes, Roger was frozen. His body suddenly weakened as his knees and hands were trembling harmoniously accompanied by his dribbling heart.

He winked several times expecting he was just having a dream or hallucinations. But he didn’t.

The wolf in front of him was true. He started peeing his underwear.

“Okay, please, Mcwell, I know it was you. Please don’t hurt me. I promise I won’t tell anyone about your secret. I promise.” He stammered as his body was now full of sweat.

Porter barked.

To his surprise, he immediately ran as fast as he can heading to his room, and locked the door.

Even in this room, he could still hear the scratching of Porter’s claws in his wooden door.

Roger hid inside the bed, hard to breathe and shaking.

After the successful plan scaring the hell out of Roger, Porter immediately jumped to the rooftop and leave.

A few minutes, Roger’s friends noticed that he didn’t come back after getting some beer. So they went and look for him.

“Roger, are you there?” Gabby knocked at the door. “Roger is that you in the room?” He added after they heard some weird sounds inside.

The more they keep on knocking, the more Roger moaned. They could sense that something was really happening inside so they pushed the door hardly.

They were all surprised by what they saw. Roger’s gone mad.

They immediately rushed Roger to the hospital as he was totally in a daze and was not even saying a word but a peculiar moan.

Moving on, I couldn’t bring Ina to some of those expensive restaurants in Green Hills, so I brought her here to the park beside the small lake.

In an open space with a lying blanket on this green grass, a bouquet of flower,s and a few food and drinks. It was close to perfection.

I may not be the idealistic type of person but that’s all I could think of.

“I’m sorry I brought you to this mess, Ina.”

Her chest was sticking out while leaning her head to my shoulder.

“How can you say that? Don’t you know that this was the best and romantic date I ever had?” She proudly replied.

My face immediately turned reddish at the moment. I was wishing the time would stop even for tonight as I held her hands, staring at her serene inscrutable eyes.

I slowly touched her cheek and grabbed a kiss.

“What time is it?” She asked after removing her lips to mine.

“I just wish the time would stop.” I softly replied.

“No, I’m serious, Clark. I forgot I have my curfew at ten o’clock. We should probably go.

After seeing Ina being terrified, I immediately folded the blanket and took off the bouquet of flowers, and brought some of the foods and the bottle of champagne.

There were only a few people wandering in the park tonight. Mostly, just like us, a couple having an economical but romantic date.

“Help…!”

After I put the stuff back to the car, there was a loud scream from a girl behind the bush. Ina and I exchanged glances in shock.

I immediately went and look for the girl. To my surprise, there was a lot of blood scattered throughout the area. Though I am a wolf I haven’t smelled the blood right away.

“Help, please! My boyfriend, there was a two dog bit and took him. They were big and… and, terrifying eyes.” There was a shedding of tears in her eyes as her hands and knees were both shivering.

“It’s okay, it’s okay.” I immediately hugged the girl.

I sniffed and smelled some werewolf nearby.

“Ina, bring the girl to the car, quick!” I firmly ordered.

“What about you? I don’t want you to go alone in there. It’s dark, Clark.” She worriedly replied.

“It’s okay. I’ll be fine, just go now. Call someone from the Sheriff’s department. Call for help.”

Ina, along with the girl went immediately to the car to get her phone.

Afterward, I followed the scent of the wolves and the blood. When I found them, the two were enjoying slaughtering the man. They barbarously killed the man. The worst part, they ate the man’s flesh and blood.

“Who are you? Get out from the man now.” I courageously said.

They both growled angrily when they hear me. I still don’t know how to control myself from shifting into a werewolf. So I asked the beast inside me what to do.

Luckily, he heard me. He lent me some of his strength and speed, enough to fight for the two wolves.

“Clark, run!” Ina shouted.

The wolf stopped fighting with me. Instead, they shifted their looks to Ina. They growl and howl which makes Ina terrified. So am I.

My brain was exploding as to what to do right now. I already consumed the beast’s power he lends me and the two wolves were heading to Ina. Leaving no choice, I roared extremely.

With the loud sounds of the roar, I felt the ground vibrating. That was truly a loud one. I can feel my bones began cracking and my fangs and claws budding. If I am not going to give in, Ina might be in danger.

When the two wolves jumped at Ina, I swiftly ran towards them and grabbed the wolf out of her.

Ina’s body was completely trembling when there were three werewolves standing in front of her.

“Ina, get in the car. Bring the girl with you. Run!”

Ina got her consciousness back after I growled at her. She shockingly unlocked and hopped into the car along with the girl.

I made sure first before doing anything rush that she could manage to start the car.
