C8 Prince Emir

She grinned and chuckled in disbelief and slowly picked it up and stared.

“Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Boys? Boys, wake up! You still have your classes. Don’t wait that I should drag you out of the bed.” She said.

Mom intentionally dragged the blanket after a minute that we never made a sound for what she was saying.

Kevin fell to the floor after pulling the blanket.

“Umm, where is that freaking wolf, Clark?”

Kevin immediately said and stood up.

“Hey, you’re daydreaming with a wolf, young man. Why of all things, wolf, really?”

Mom furrowed and continued cleaning the room.

Kevin was back with his consciousness and frowned in confusion. He can’t remember him mumbling about the wolf.

My sleepiness disappears after hearing Kevin talking about wolves. We exchanged glances.

I frowned and sighed dejectedly.

“Mom, today’s Sunday! Most likely it's a rest day for us, Okay? We don’t have classes.”

“Oh, today’s Sunday indeed. I’m sorry boys for waking you up. Anyway, can someone explain this to me?”

Kevin and I felt embarrassed after we saw my mom holding and showing us the unused piece of the condom. My face immediately turned pinkish and speechless.

“Oh, I am so sorry, Mr. Mcwell. Maybe I just dropped it last night. Thanks.”

Kevin immediately gets the condom out of mom’s hand and gave her a discomforting grin afterwards.

I immediately got out of bed and descended downstairs heading to the kitchen. Kevin then followed. I switched on the television before having my morning coffee.

Kevin and I were both dumbfounded seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith was on the news. The two was accused of murder form the dead body that was found in the woods.

“Poor, girl. I can’t even dare see her half body in the morgue to check and do the autopsy. Thank goodness, they already found their suspects.” Mom said in relief.

Kevin and I exchanged glances. We suddenly feel the eagerness to search for the other parts of the body.

“Umm, mom, can we go with you to the hospital and see the half body?” I eagerly replied.

“Yes, but should have my presence and approval. And, since when were the two of you getting interested about dead bodies?”

“Just nothing, we were just curious to see a half-dead body. That’s all.” Kevin replied.

“Okay, so, you two better finish up your coffee since I only have thirty more minutes not to be late for work.” She then watched her watch.

Kevin and I were in a race to finish sipping the hot coffee. Afterward, I went out of the garage to prepare my car.

When I was about to unlock the door of my car, I could utterly smell some wolf scents around the house.

“Come on, I know it was you two in here.” I affirmatively said.

I felt worried after they both showed up, especially inside the house.

“Listen, Emir, I know you were curious about what really happened to the girl in the woods.”

“So, are you two spying on me now? Even the news channel that I usually watched every morning, the two of you knows?”

“We’re not spying, Emir. In fact, we were both protecting you at all costs. If it’s necessary to watch you every day, then so be it.”

“Well, you just stay away from me and my family? And please stop calling me that name. My name is Clark, not Emir.”

“Hey, buddy, are you okay? I heard you mention the word “Emir”. Wait, are you talking to someone down here?” Kevin curiously asked.

I immediately looked back where Rico and Cletisa were standing. Luckily, they were both out of sight.

“Umm, yeah, I am totally fine. Just out of curiosity, do you have any idea what was that “Emir” means?”

“It simply means a Prince. Wait, are you, Emir, when you become you’re…?” He then made mimic howling sounds.

I grinned and chuckled.

“How I wish to become a Prince, dude. The kind of Prince who has a lot of money and not with the Wolf Prince.” I teasingly replied.

“Where is mom?” I added.

“I’m on my, just a sec!”

When we were still heading to the hospital, I couldn’t help myself but think about what Kevin has told me.

Am I really a Prince?

“Okay, I think we’re good to go. You two still have ten more minutes to go check the morgue before the dead bodies arrived.” Mom suggested.

After I parked the car, Kevin and I immediately went to the morgue and eagerly looking for the half body.

“I think this was it!” I slowly move the white cloth that covers the body and sniffed it.

“So, that was one of your ability as a werewolf?”

“Sort of, I guess.”

“That’s awesome, bro. Would that means you can find me immediately if someone kidnaps me?”

“Nobody wants to kidnap you, idiot!”

After we are done with our purpose, Kevin and I went out of the room.

We then went to the car and drove away.

“Dude, that new ability was so disgusting! Imagine, sniffing the dead body? Just out of curiosity, how exactly are you gonna find the dead body?”

Kevin was right. I indeed don’t have any idea what I am doing. I don’t even know how the sniffing works.

“Just a hint, maybe?” I simply replied.

“What? You let me join you with this nuts idea for guts?”

After a few minutes of driving following the scent, we ended up with an abandoned old house in the middle of the woods.

Kevin and I exchanged glances in disbelief.

“Dude, did you know who is the owner of this house?” Kevin asked.

“Should I?”

“This is where Mr. and Mrs. Smith lived before the fire incident happened!”

I was completely taken aback after he mentioned the two again.

“Okay, but where is the body?” He curiously added.

“Wait here, I just need to get something from the car.”

I went to the car to get a shovel and flashlights.

“Wooh, don’t tell me you were a boys scout now? What else did you hide in your car, huh?”

I then started shoveling the ground. After a few minutes, I already made a hole.

Kevin then did the burrowing.

Meanwhile, the shovel hit something hard. We then gently stroked the land using our bare hands.

We were dumbfounded as there was a cloth with blood. When we removed the cover, Kevin was a bit dismayed when we saw nothing but a dead hog.

“A hog? We’re wasting our time, effort, and sweat just for a hog? I thought you had a better sense of smell, dude?”

Kevin immediately ascended himself out of the hole. He couldn’t believe everything we did for nothing.

“No, that couldn’t be. I am sure it was buried here. I could even still smell the girl’s scent. Maybe we only got the wrong place to dig.”

“What? Are you planning to dig this entire five-hectare land just to prove your sense of smell was right? I’m gonna out of here, dude. Sorry, I cannot help you any more with that.”

I then ascended myself out of the hole.

“We better get going before Mr. and Mrs. Smith comes back and probably sues us for trespassing and distraction of properties.”

When we were about to head back to the car, Kevin suddenly noticed a rare purple flower.

“Wait, bro! Maybe you were right after all. See this flower over here?”

He pointed a finger to the flower.

I frowned in confusion.

“Have you ever even tried to do some research about your wolf thing?” He added.

“Hmmph, no, should I?”

Kevin sighed extremely.

“Based on my research, this purple flower is called wolfsbane. This is the common known cure or weapon against fantastical creatures, such as you as a werewolf. You can be vulnerable and lethal after you get exposed to this kind of plant, or worst could kill you.”

I was completely intrigued by Kevin’s broad knowledge about the wolf thing. I have no idea those things not until today.

“Wait and you’ll see.” He added.

Kevin slowly plucked the stem of the wolfsbane swirling the entire hole we just dug.

There was a glittering purple light came out of the hole.

“Kevin, take a look at this!” I eagerly said.

We were both completely frozen after we saw the hog shifted into a human body.

“That was awesome! Now I fucking realized we were truly living with full of magic and mysteries.”

He jumped in full surprise.

After our mysterious discovery, we immediately reported the incident to the Sheriff’s department.

Several Green Hills Police patrols immediately responded to the crime scene.

They gently picked up the missing body parts and brought them to the hospital for further test verification.

“Okay, big boys. Can someone care to explain how did you two come up with this idea? Don’t you know this is a crime? And you two could be pointed as a suspect.” Sheriff Stewart said.

“Okay, umm, remember the last you caught me in the woods?” Kevin replied.

“Ah-huh.”

“Clark was also there with me that night. Did I did lied to you okay? After we left, Clark was looking for the body alone.”
