C7 Chapter 7

'Take this f*cking bastard out of my site" Alpha Lucas commanded.

Before now he had ordered a particular guard to send some items to one of his VIP friends but the guard failed to do as he had said, which made him so angry.

'Make sure you lock him up for days without serving him any food. Neither will you give him water to drink and wait for further instructions from me. If I hear anything otherwise you all will be punished severely" Alpha Lucas scolded his guards as he walked out angrily.

The guards were frightened by the words of the Alpha, he made it clear to them that there must be no mistakes. They carried the guard and locked him up immediately as instructed by Alpha Lucas.

Alpha Lucas was in his office going through some files when he had a knock at the door. He heard it but didn't reply, the person kept on knock for a while before he shouted;

'Who the hell is at the f*cking door?" He asked in a very harsh tone.

It was one of the elders who came to give him a report of his wedding ceremony with his new mate. The Elder who was at the door was so scared to open the door knowing fully when he already got the Alpha furious.

'Are you not going to open the door you b*stard"

Alpha Lucas yelled.

Alpha Lucas was already really pissed off with what happened earlier between him and the guard but since he wasn't able to pour out his anger on him fully he decided to pass it to someone else which turned out to be the elder.

'I am so sorry my one and only Alpha Robert Lucas, I didn't know you were not in the mood of receiving visitors. I only came to pass information to you from the Elders and Nana concerning the date of your wedding with your new mate" the Elder said while coming closer to the Alpha' desk.

Alpha Lucas usually loves being praised, so he became pleased with the Elder because he praised him. He was also calm when he heard the Elder mention Nana.

'What exactly are you talking about?" Alpha Lucas asked the elder this time in a calm tone.

The Elder cleared his throat and then he began to talk;

'Earlier today we the Elders had a meeting with Nana, we talked about the picking of the date for your wedding with your new mate" he said slowly so that he wouldn't get the Alpha pissed off again.

The Alph was getting pissed with the way the Elder kept on talking slowly.

'Will you spill out the word and go straight to the point?" he scolded.

The Elder who talked slowly because he didn't want to confuse or get the Alpha pissed was so confused because the Alpha was angry with the way he talked.

'I am sorry my Alpha, I didn't have intentions of annoying you, I only talked slowly so you could understand better" the elder said with his hands together and his head bowed down.

'And who asked for your opinion? Where the hell did Elder Ken go? Is he not the one assigned to always come give me information on any meetings held? Who the f*ck are you? Alpha yelled while banging the table in anger.

'I am so sorry Alpha Lucas, I didn't mean to get you upset. Please forgive me, please ' the Elder pleaded for mercy.

But it seemed like the plea was not helping any matter because the Alpha was much more pissed than he was before.

'Shut up!!" Alpha Lucas commanded in a loud tone

'And get out of my office, fool," he continued.

The elder was so shocked when the Alpha sent him out of the office because he didn't know what he did wrong that made the Alpha so angry.

'What exactly did I do to him that made him insult me and even walked me out of his office. Didn't he realize I am old enough to be his father?" He asked himself while returning back to tell the Elders about his encounter with the Alpha.

Alpha Lucas was about to call for Elder Ken immediately as he sent the Elder away before he heard a knock at the door, so he stopped and went to check who it was. It was a note and basket of food from Nana, Nana had sent her most trusted maid more like a P.A to bring it over to the Alpha.

'Good day Alpha Robert Lucas, Nana sent me to give you this" she said handing over the basket of food to him while dipping her hand in her bag like she was looking for something in there;

'Finally, And also this" she said when she found the envelope she was looking for in her bag as she handed over a white envelope to him.

The Alpha collected both the basket of food and the envelope from Nana's maid and then dismissed her. He took his time to open the envelope, when he opened it he realized it was a letter.

'Hmmmm… a letter" he said as he chuckled a little then looked around to check if there was anyone looking at him.

He opened it and read it out loud.

~ 'My son, I decided to bring over some food to you because I know you have been skipping meals for the past few days due to your busy schedule at work. Don't ask me who told me about your schedule because you should know by now that I have ears round your mansion lols. My love I know you need someone by your side to listen to all your worries and lift up some burdens off your neck. Don't worry because you are about to be married and that will be settled because your mate will be there to support and cheer you up when necessary. I am pleading with you my dear to take a time off more like a break, use it to rest and plan for your wedding with your new beautiful mate. Well that is not the reason for this letter, I just wanted you to know that I love the decision you made in picking that girl as your new bride. She is a sweet and loving girl that I am sure of and I am sure you will love her the same way I did the moment you announced her as your bride. I love you so dear from Nana."

'Hmm Nana" Alpha Lucas said as he managed to pop out a smile on his face.

'My new mate," he said as he nodded his head and rolled his eyes.

Linda and Rohan on their way to Alpha Lucas mansion.

'I am really nervous, what if he declines it or maybe throws us out, punishes us or even kills us? No!! I can't go in there" Linda said to Rohan as they were approaching Alpha Lucas mansion.

Linda was not in support of them going to confront the Alpha, she had already suggested something different earlier. She said it would be best if they told one of the elders instead of them coming there themselves but Joshua declined it saying it best they approach him by themselves. Now they were at the front of Alpha Robert Lucas mansion but Linda was scared to go in, she suddenly started saying he was going to kill the both of them and that they should go back home and come back with a better plan.

'Why the sudden change of mind? I thought we had a discussion and we concluded on it, what wrong? Let go in I am here with you I will protect you" Joshua said to Linda in an assuring and calm tone.

Linda felt a little bit relieved from thej tension after hearing those words from Rohan.

'Are you sure of this?" Linda asked Joshua in a soft tone.

'Yes I am Linda, you just have to trust me on this one. I will fight for us and our love" he answered her in a sweet tone.

This made Linda have a rethink on the whole thing and decided to go inside.

'Ok then. Let's go in" she said as they rang the bell button hung on the wall in front of the Alpha' mansion.
