C8 Chapter 8

Soon after the bell rang a guard came, opened the door and took them to the room. At the entrance of the room they wrote'waiting room".

They both waited there for a while before an Elder came to pick them up.

'Oh Elder Ken!" She shouted as she went to meet him.

Rohan was surprised at the way Linda shouted because he never knew who the man was and besides she never mentioned his name in the house before.

'Who is he?" Rohan asked in curiosity in a calm and low tone.

'Oh! Forgive my manners. Rohan, this is Elder Ken the man I told you about, the one that selected me as one of the Alpha' bride" Linda introduced Elder Ken to Rohan.

'And Elder Ken, this is Rohan, my… hmm... My boyfriend" Linda stammered as she introduced Rohan to Elder Ken.

Rohan was not happy with the way Linda stammered while introducing her to the Elder.

Elder Ken was so surprised to know she had a boyfriend. On that day when he marked her as one of the candidates to be the Alpha' bride he didn't get a sign that she was in a relationship.

'Really, so you had a boyfriend? I never knew about that" he said in a very calm tone.

'She has a boyfriend not had a boyfriend I am still here and am not letting her go even if it the Alpha I will fight for us" Rohan said in a very sharp tone.

'Yes Elder Ken, and that exactly why we came here today ' Linda said as she noticed that Rohan was getting angry and she didn't want things to get worse.

The Elder was silent for a moment before he told them that he would have to excuse himself so he could go and inform the Alpha that they want to meet with him. As soon as he left Rohan turned within a very angry look on his face;

'Why did us stammer when you where introducing me to the Elder but you didn't stammer when you where introducing him to me?" Rohan asked in an angry tone.

Linda was so surprised to see Rohan that angry because she had not seen him that angry before.

'I am really sorry if that offended you. I did that because I know I was scared he might go and give the Alpha the wrong information" she answered.

'What wrong information are you talking about? Are you scared of calling me your boyfriend and introducing me to the world as yours?" Rohan asked, still angry.

'No you know you mean the world to me and I can't be scared of introducing you to the world. I will gladly do that because you know I love Rohan" Linda said as she was about to cry.

Rohan noticed the sad look on Linda so he stopped with the questions and decided to cheer her up.

'I'm sorry Linda, I didn't mean to make you feel bad I was just so embarrassed that you couldn't say it clearly that I was your boyfriend. I know how much you love me and I also love you too. Don't worry we will be done here, when we get home I will prepare your favorite pasta. okay?" Rohan said to Linda and managed to put a little smile on her face.

Soon after Elder Ken came back and told the both of them that the Alpha had agreed to me with them.

'The Alpha I should bring you in" the Elder said as he should them the way in.

The passed the back of the mansion heading to the Alpha' office as instructed by the Alpha.

'Wow Rohan isn't that a life robot or… Linda asked Rohan before Elder Ken stopped her from going any further.

'Yes it is a life robot and not everyone is along to touch it or go close to it unless you have been registered on it. Elder Ken answered Linda.

On their way Linda saw lots of things that amazed her and she would always shout and paused to take a closer look at them before going any further, until they were almost there and Elder Ken gave her a quick piece of advice.

'Linda when you get to the Alpha's guest room, you would definitely see more amazing things than all the ones you saw, but please compose yourself so you won't get embarrassed. Okay?" In a calming tone.

Linda was so happy to know that someone cared about her other than Rohan.

'Yes Sir. I promise to keep your advice in mind ' she replied Elder Ken in a sweet and happy tone as Rohan knocked the door.

'Knock knock" Linda knocked at the door.

'I don't think we are to knock for too long before entering." Rohan advised.

'Ohh really but you know how Alpha Lucas can be at times. What if he gets angry and scolds us for walking in without his permission."

'Hmmm…. But what if he gets angry that we are banging his door?"

'Rohan I just want all this to be over as soon as possible and you know Elder Ken begged us to behave ourselves because Alpha Lucas gets angry easily."

'But why is he not answering? He knows we are outside here because Elder Ken told him so." Rohan said as he held Linda's hands.

They both breathe in together which made them summon a little courage. Rohan knocked once and opened the door.

'Good day Sir" Rohan greeted Alpha Lucas.

'Good say Alpha Lucas" Linda greeted Alpha Lucas.

The expression on Alpha Lucas's face made Rohan and Linda a little anxious. He raised his eyeballs a little and stared at them like they came in to interrupt him.

Linda was so scared that she couldn't raise her head. Rohan noticed it and held her hand.

'Calm down, just breathe in a little. I am here with you, Okay." Rohan assured Linda.

'Hmmm…" Alpha Lucas signed and dropped the pen in his hands facing the both of them.

His signs were obvious: he was getting impatient.

Rohan cleared his throat 'Hm..mmm…" and stared at the Alpha

'Alpha Lucas, it is a great pleasure of mine to be in your office this beautiful morning. I will not like to spend too much of your time so I will go straight to the point." Rohan said to Alpha Lucas, boldly.

Alpha Lucas kept on staring at Linda not minding what Rohan was saying and it made her uncomfortable when she noticed.

'What is your name?" Alpha Lucas asked Rohan, sarcastically while pointing at him.

'My name is Rohan, Alpha Lucas." He replied to him.

'And you, what's that your name again?" Alpha Lucas as Linda while pointing at her.

'Hmmmm… my name is…. Linda." Linda stammered.

'The selected bride right?" He asked her in a calm tone.

'No! Sorry I meant yes" Rohan replied in a very loud tone.

Rohan was angry when he noticed Alpha Lucas was looking at Linda nicely and also talking to her in a calm and sweet tone.

'Rohan I don't accept people who can't coordinate themselves or rather comport themselves in a formal place." Alpha Lucas said to Rohan angrily.

'I don't accept people into my office like this, especially a nuisance like you. I would have walked you out immediately but I won't do that because you came in with my chosen mate and it would be a bad omen to send the Alpha's mate guest out angrily." Alpha Lucas continued

'I am sorry Alpha Lucas" Rohan apologized when he noticed the Alpha was already very angry.

'We are very sorry Alpha Lucas." Mira apologizes on behalf of Rohan.

Alpha Lucas was quiet for a while, Rohan and Linda were shaking. Linda was scared she felt that if he get angry more than this he would kill the both of them.

'Go straight to the point and don't waste my time." Alpha Lucas commanded Rohan in a very harsh tone.

'Ok…. Okay I will do that at once." Rohan said as he held Linda's hand tightly.

He breathed in and out twice before replying.

'I…am.. ' Rohan stammered.

'Who are you to her?" Alpha Lucas asked Rohan when he noticed Rohan was not ready to talk.

'I am boyfriend." Rohan finally replied after so much waiting and beating around for a while.

'Boyfriend?" Alpha Lucas asked him, eagerly

'Yes Alpha Lucas, he is my boyfriend." Linda said.

Alpha Lucas paused for a while, folded his hands and stared at them, sarcastically.
