C2 Eclipse

*In The Blood Moon's Pack House*

The room was quiet but intimidating.

The elders sat around the table with the Alpha at the head chair. They all looked up to him, expecting his response.

"So what have you decided?"

"We can not allow her to live as stated by Lisa."

"She is an abomination and mustn't be left to live."

As if to agree with the elders' words The sky turned darker and the moon and sun both appeared in the sky, with the moon completely soaked in blood.

"An Eclipse?!"

"No! It's the blood moon?!" One of the elders shouted.

"This is totally unheard of!

"Our ancestors are mad at us!

Alpha Kevin, you have to decide now, you can't wait until she destroys the lives of everyone before you take the right step.

Kevin's fist was clenched and his eyes tightly were tightly shut as he thought of the decision he was to make.

The said child was after all his flesh and blood and one he has prayed day and night, for years before he finally got.

"Why have the Moon goddess decided to test me?"

"Why bestow me a gift only to have it snatched right before I could touch it?"

Kevin opened his eyes and he also looked out the sky and he was completely surprised to find the sun and the blood moon out there in the sky.

"Could she be as evil as Lisa stated?"

"Is she really going to bring Chaos to the pack?"

Kevin was torn between his emotions. His love for his unborn child was greater than his duty as the Alpha. However, he knew he had to do the right thing.

Kevin wasn't ready to accept that his child could turn out evil. However, the blood moon in the sky alongside the sun is a clear indication of the foretold impending doom.

"She should be killed as soon as she is delivered."

Kevin clenched his fist tighter and he clawed himself as he passed the order.

He could imagine Ariel's sad face when she finds out about his decision.

"I'm sorry Ariel," He mumbled.

"Forgive father, my little one," He sighed and placed his head on the desk before him

His Beta Lucas walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "You did the right thing, Kevin."

Kevin raised his head and looked at his Beta. "You think, I did the right thing?"

"I've always trusted in you Kev."

"You think I did the right thing, Lucas? Kevin asked again, lifting his head sadly to look at Lucas

"Yes, Kev."

"But, why does it hurt so much?"

"Why do I feel so pained to do this?

"How can I be so cruel enough to order my child to be killed? Kevin shook Lucas's shoulder as he spoke.

"I have waited and prayed for so many years for a child and I have to kill her when I finally got one?

"It's for the safety of the pack."

"But it hurts so much Lucas and I know Ariel will be broken once she finds out.

"The pain will pass, Kevin," Lucas said squeezing Kevin's shoulder.

"Time heals all wounds."

"You think we'll be healed from this? Kevin shook his head.

"I trust you will."

*Blood Moon Pack, The Healer's House...*

The night was bright and cool. The moonlight reflected into the room through a tiny window and it illuminated the room with its bright light.

The sound of birds chirping and cooing loudly on the trees by the doctor's house made the atmosphere serene.

"Arrghh..."

The loud cries of a woman in labor was heard as she tried to push out her baby.

"Just a little more push and the baby should be out," The doctor said as she dabbed Ariel's forehead with a damp towel.

The Blood moon pack is known for its great strength and agility.

Doctor Lucy Snyder was the most powerful doctor in the world. She was bestowed the eyes of heaven and superb healing powers. Her gift was the reason behind the pack's continuous victory in battle.

Hence, the Alpha held her in great esteem.

Lucy rubbed Ariel's belly and blew some powder into the air.

She squatted before Ariel and she took a peek into Luna's Vagina again but there was no sign of the baby.

Instead, a heavy gust of wind suddenly whooshed into the room throwing everything in the room in a state of disorder as everything started going in circles.

Loud Thunder clapped and rumbled in the sky.

"What is happening? Ariel managed to raise her head.

Everything suddenly turned dark as soon as she spoke.

Lucy look up and noticed that the sky getting dark was because the moon was getting stained by an unrecognized stain.

"An Eclipse?"

"This is not an eclipse," Lucy corrected.

"Then what is it?

"This is the blood moon."

"Blood moon? The maids at Lucy's place looked at each other.

"Isn't that the sign of our ancestors?"

"Yes, that is how our ancestors are called," Lucy concurred.

"Then are they behind this? One of the maids asked but Lucy's eyes were fixed on the red moon.

"What sign is this?" She wondered.

Though she already had an experience with this so she wasn't surprised by the gust of wind but the red moon was something she never expected.

"What does this mean?" Ariel sat up and stared at the sky through the small window in the doctor's house.

The heavens started rejoicing and rain suddenly started pouring.

The trees jubilated as the wind offered them a melodious music.

Their branches were swaying happily to the song of the wind.

There was no star in the sky and the moon was getting drenched in blood and right at this moment, Ariel cried out loudly, making Lucy rush back to her.

Lucy took a peek in her Vagina and she smiled seeing the baby's head.

"You are ready, Luna," She said, slowly patting Ariel's lap.

She stood and chanted some words as she moved around the room.

She went inside and she came back holding a cup of herb.

"Here, drink this."

A maid helped raise Ariel's head as she fed her the herb. Ariel was sweating profusely and panting heavily at the same time.

"Arrghh...." Ariel cried out again.

"You are getting there, Luna, gather your strength and be prepared to make a big push," Lucy advised.

"Okay," Ariel said through a ragged breath.

She had been anticipating the arrival of this baby all her life.

Ariel was elated when she was finally bestowed the gift of pregnancy by the moon goddess.

Seeing all her friends and neighbors having kids has always been a pain in her heart and she had prayed fervently, day and night, begging the moon goddess for a child.

Even her siblings, all had kids, but she's got none.

Thus, she was the happiest when she finally got pregnant.

However, when the moon goddess finally gave her a child she also want to take her back.

The moon goddess wants her innocent child to be made the sacrificial lamb just to save the pack from chaos.

Isn't that just too cruel?

"Push now! Lucy said, Knelling in between Ariel's Lap.

Ariel gave a heavy push and the baby came out and as soon as she escaped from her mother's womb, the moon was washed clean.

"Congratulations Luna, it's a baby girl."
