C19 Chapter-19

Daniel’s POV:

The whole week just passed by. Nothing special happened. A week before, I took her home. She never talked about that night, the night I carried her to her bed. I guessed she was a little embarrassed and didn’t want to talk about it. In fact, she didn’t talk about anything. She was just being reserved. Her routine was to wake up early to make breakfast for both for us, clean up the mess, silently going with me to school and silently coming back. I knew she was feeling shy. I didn’t know why but twice or thrice, I tried to talk to her by asking about some general stuff but her answer was always hiding inside a single word. It was the weekend and, when I came back from jogging she was setting breakfast on the table. I freshened up and came downstairs to have breakfast. She was quiet, but environment was full of weird vibes. She was nervous. Why? I didn’t know. Soon I figure out that she wanted to say something but couldn’t. Hence,i initiated the conversation ;

“Breakfast is good today.”

She barely smiled at this. So, I continued.

“what are your plans for today?”

“I’ve to complete one assignment today. But- “

She stopped.

“But?”

“I broke my laptop.”

“Oh, well that’s not a big deal. You can use mine.”

This made her satisfied. I guessed this was what she wanted to ask. After breakfast, I did the dishes, of course I knew the rule that if one makes the food, other should do the dishes. I went upstairs and brought my laptop in the lounge where she was sitting on sofa, assembling her notes. I opened the laptop and gave it to her.

“Can I use your email? I forgot my password.”

“Yeah, why not.”

She didn’t ask anything else. I sat on the single sofa and turned the television on. I had nothing to do. After half an hour, she looked at me ;

“I think I did something wrong.”

“What happened?”

I stood up and sat near to her taking the laptop from her. It was an attack. A cyber security attack. And I was damn sure who it was.

“What did you do?”

I asked her. She was worried.

“I just received the mail on your email account. There was a website and I just opened it. What is it? What will happen to my assignment?”

At this I gave her a look.

“Seriously, my account and laptop got hacked and you are concerned about your assignment.”

“What will you do now? It says that your account will be properly hacked within an hour.”

“Its okay. I only need five minutes.”

“You are a hacker?”

She was surprised.

“Let’s see if I am.”

I started finding the decryption key to secure my files and tried to locate the IP address of hacker. A few more minutes and I pressed enter. I was just waiting. But what was that? It said Access Denied.

“What the hell?”

“What happened?”

Sara was so focused on what I was doing. Focused or concerned about her assignment?

“wait”

I again tried but the result was still same. After two and three tries, I finally knew the reason. The hacker actually protected its information but using fire walls.

“I need to break the fire walls. Only then I will be able to locate the IP address.”

"Fire walls?"

"Hm, it's the protection walls one made when it doesn't want others to locate IP address."

"Then how are you going to break those walls? Will it harm my work too?"

And she asked this question so innocently that made me stare her for half a minute. She was really so bongi.

"Let's see."

Someone's POV:

And i was sitting infornt of my laptop, with a wicked smile on my face. He can't caught me today. No, no today. I practised alot. I will let him taste failure today. But my happiness was not for more than 3 minutes, when a highlighted sentence appeared on my screen "FIRST FIRE WALL BREACHED."

What? It was so difficult to learn this technique. And he know this too? And similarly, there appeared two more sentence with the gap of half a minute. My second and third fire wall also broke. And i knew he knew my IP adress. I was in a bad mood today, as i always am whenever i lost. My ears caught a familiar sound. My cellphone ringing. And i didn't want to pick it up. I knew who it was. But still i picked it up without greeting. I heard a familiar voice.

"So, i thought i just gave you a lesson? Don't you dare try to hack my computer ever. You can't defeat me. Oh! By the way, what are you doing here? When did you come? And where are you staying? I'll come and get you."

"You know everything, why bother asking?"

And i hung up the call. I was so mad today. When will be the day when I'll be able to win? He was always a master. Why can't i be one?

I was sitting in the room, having a beautiful view. In front of me, there was a huge glass window. Across it, there were buildings, huge one. The door bell rang. Uuh! Here he came. I stood up and walked towards the door. Opening it, i said:

"Here comes my handsome devil brother."

I opened it and it was him, Dan.

"Handsome and devil? What did i do to make you feel that I'm devil?

"I don't think i need to tell you that."

"Look! You were the one who tried to rob me. Laptop wasn't in my hand. But you still lost. Was that my fault, Diana?"

And it was the first time he called my name till he get here. I called him inside. Obviously, he is my brother. I should forgive him.

"When did you came back? Why didn't you go back home?"

With a satisfactory smile on his face, walking towards the couch, he asked.

"Two days ago, wanted to gave you a surprise. Well, mom said you got a girlfriend and you are staying with her?"

"What? Ahh! I can't believe it. Mom is torturing me like this. She is just a guest, Sara."

"And you are taking care of her, when she is just a guest?"

A smirk appeared on my face.

"Pack up. I'll take you home."

"You didn't answer my question."

"It's nothing. She is different, a good different. But I don't think we will make it."

Sara's POV:

Daniel left the home three hours before. I couldn't ask to where. I thought he was going to Mark. It's because i think it was him, the person he called after that hacking scene. I called Carrie.

"Hello, how are you?"

"Obviously as good as before. You interrupted MV."

"MV? What's that?"

"Bighit just released a song. I was streaming by using different emails. And you interrupted my streaming."

"Oh, sorry . I just wanted to ask what were you doing?"

I just couldn't say that i want to ask about Daniel.

"Nothing, mom dad is taking us to have dinner."

"Oh, have fun. Daniel is also going with you?"

"Daniel? Dan? Oh! I see. That's what you wanted to ask. You should have asked before. I won't tell anyone."

I could feel her smirking.

"Shut up."

"Okay, sorry. Well, Dan is not with us. What made you think so?"

"No it's just-"

And my room's door opened with a crack. I turned around. And my phone dropped. It was him, again. How did he get here? Richard

"Bothered you, honey?"

And my throat was dry enough to answer.

"H-how?"

"Oh! Looks like you are surprised. Time to go home, honey. You enjoyed alot in my absence."

This last thing i remember was him, walking towards me, and then everything turned black.
