C5 She could not remember anything

A month has passed. She was still in a coma. He began to feel exhausted but still never gave up taking care of her as tears shimmered in his eyes. I"Please Kate, wake up," he whispered in her ears.

He felt a throbbing in his head, "Kate, I have loved you for the first day I set my eyes on you." He bawled, remembering the first night they had together. He was so ashamed of himself for ever putting her in Melancholia, and now this accident, he‘d hope she would forgive him.

Kate‘s body started moving, and Jackson lifted his head up, afraid of how he would face Kate. Whatever it is, he will end it with her now.

Kate had her eyes wide open; she was staring off into space, and she flailed her hands, making Jackson whoop. If she knows how he anticipated this day, she will be smiling like a child in a candy shop.

Kate was agitated and confused about what she was doing in the hospital, as she was tracking Jackson pacing around the room. with excitement to call the doctor

Pain seared through Kate’s head, and her head was bandaged. She could hear beeping somewhere above her head, and she could respond to the sound. IVS were attached to both her hands; she blinked once and twice as she entered the doctor and Jackson.

The doctor went to examine her to see if she could respond to her environment. He checked her movements, her reflexes, and the size of her pupil. Observing her breathing, he was speaking loudly and pressing on the angle of her jaw.

Kate was still confused. She was staring.

"She needs time to be healed, and I don’t think she can recall the incident from the past." "It will take her five months to jog back all the memories she had in the past."

The doctor said as he left the room.

The next day Kate woke up from her long sleep with light glaring and blinding her eyes and her head spinning it seems to her that she has been sleeping all this while, Jackson lay his head on top of her bed side

She had lost her long-term memories she didn't remember that she has a baby, so sad she can’t tell who she is and what brought her to that state

“what happened ?why am I here?” she croaked her throat was so dry her head keeps spinning her,

“I need water, but I don’t know who you are ?” She was staring at him in empty air.

It’s somehow a good thing to him that she lost her memory that is the only way he can show her great love in return and make atonement for what he has done to her if eventually she remembered the past she will skinned him alive he had been a wolf to her.

Kate struggled to sit down; every inch of her body hurt as she was screaming in protest. Jackson entered the room with a bottle of water in his hand. He reached behind her bed and clicked it one side to adjust it for her to sit upright. He pulled the headboard and slid it over her.

Pain laced through her head, making her wince.

"Are you alright?" Jackson caresses her cheek.

"My head hurts," she winced in pain.

"sorry! You will be fine. Take this water and rest for a while. "He gave her water to sip."

After sipping, Jackson pushed down the bed.

"I can’t remember anything, not even my name or what brought me here." She frowned and gasped for breath. "How bad was I?" she inquired.

He lied again as tears welled in his eyes, “The car that lost control hit you; you lost a lot of blood and fractured your skull; you hit your head badly on the floor, which resulted in your being in a coma for one month; you were operated on, but there is no sign of you coming back.”

If she finds out he was the one who hit her, she will sue him and send him to jail.

“Oh, that's bad. Who are you then, and what am I to you?”she inquired so many things is going through her mind

She felt as though she was missing something because of her intense curiosity to learn everything.

“Well, you're my fiance,” he added with a wink.

She checked her finger but found no ring on it. "Why is there no engagement band to show that she is his?"she thought for awhile

he remarked as he winked at yet another lie.

"Why don't I have my ring on?" she asked him

She was trying to make sense of everything when he held her hand and squeezed her palm to his: "I was preparing to give you a ring before you were hit; it's sad me that I am not going to see your smiling face again , my face lighted now because God gave you back to me." He said to her.

She wonders if she always experiences butterflies in her stomach when she is around him because of how attractive he is and how much she longs for him.

She was delighted to hear from the doctor that she was responding well to therapy and was now free to enjoy the fresh outside air.
