C19 Let's Go! Let Us Go!
Jiang Xinyue was on the verge of panic searching for her child. After selecting the dinnerware, she turned to find the two little ones, but only saw Jiang Muli picking out LEGO sets. They searched the toy section thoroughly, but there was no sign of Jiang Songge.
Xinyue was nearly in tears. They had just returned to the country, and the little one wasn't familiar with the area. Plus, with a heart condition and fragile health, losing her at night was terrifying. Where could she possibly be?
Xinyue immediately contacted the mall staff, hoping to check the security footage to see where Songge had gone. However, the staff insisted she file a report with the police before they could access the footage.
"Mommy, don't listen to them. Let's just go home. I can hack into their system and check the footage," Muli said, pulling Xinyue along.
Xinyue considered it. Her son's skills were impressive, and it was worth a try. Meanwhile, she called Soong Xiao, asking her to help file a report with the police.
Meanwhile, Fu Shaochen had been driving around with Jiang Songge for quite some time, unable to find the neighborhood the little girl described.
"Hey, kiddo, are you sure you can't remember the way home?" Shaochen asked, feeling a bit lost himself.
"It's our first day in the new house, so I'm not really sure," Songge admitted, a bit embarrassed.
"Do you remember the name of your neighborhood?" Shaochen inquired.
"Mommy mentioned something about a garden, I think."
"Garden? In Cloud City, there are only two neighborhoods with 'garden' in their names: Wave Garden and Apricot Garden. Which one do you live in?"
"It's Wave Garden!" Songge's eyes lit up. She remembered her mom mentioning Wave Garden, not realizing it was where her mom used to live.
Shaochen chuckled, surprised to find out this little girl lived in the same place as he did. He was heading home anyway, so he decided to take her along.
They drove to Wave Garden.
Songge was confused. This entrance didn't look like her neighborhood at all.
"Uncle, I don't think I live here," Songge said timidly.
Shaochen's expression darkened. "Are you messing with me, little girl?"
Songge felt wronged. "I just moved here and really can't remember. Uncle, I'm so hungry. I haven't had dinner yet. Could you please get me something to eat? When Mommy finds me, she can pay you back."
Shaochen thought for a moment and decided to take her home for some food.
As soon as he opened the door, he saw an unwelcome figure. "Shaochen, you're back! I've been waiting for you," said Qingqing, her face heavily made up, swaying her hips as she approached. Shaochen shot her a look of disdain and ignored her.
Years ago, Ye Qingqing schemed to get into his bed and ended up pregnant. He couldn't quite remember that night, only waking up in Ye Qingqing's bed. Not long after, Ye Qingqing went to his mother, Hai Xia, and shared the news of her pregnancy. Hai Xia was thrilled and immediately insisted that Fu Shaochen divorce Jiang Xinyue and marry Ye Qingqing. However, Fu Shaochen never agreed and had been delaying the matter for years, his heart still longing for the woman who disappeared five years ago.
Jiang Songge followed Fu Shaochen into the room. Ye Qingqing was shocked to see a child with him. "Shaochen, whose child is this?" she asked, gritting her teeth. The child bore a striking resemblance to Fu Shaochen, and she wondered if some woman had given birth to his child elsewhere.
Fu Shaochen replied coolly, "Found him. Not your concern. Who gave you the key to my house? How did you get in?"
