C2 Rebirth

"Miss, thank goodness, you're finally awake!"

Who was speaking to her?

A searing pain tore through her body, engulfing her completely. Lishan turned over in agony and opened her eyes. The room was decorated entirely in pink, exuding a youthful vibe.

Was this... her old room?

She wasn't dead. She was alive?

Lishan suddenly sat up, her wary gaze landing on the maid. "What year is it?"

The maid jumped in surprise. "Miss, it's 20x5! Please don't scare me!"

20x5? That meant she had been reborn into her 18-year-old self?

Ten years ago, she was as fresh as a flower, just accepted into college, carefree, and always trailing behind Jinxi, revolving around him. It was also the pivotal year when her family fell, and his family began to rise.

Now, given a second chance at life, the thought of Jinxi destroying everything she had ten years later filled her with a deep-seated hatred that coursed through her veins.

"Have I been asleep for a long time?"

In her memory, she had a high fever, then attended a party at the Chi family's house with her parents. Feverish and dazed, she was humiliated by Jinxi and ultimately pushed into the swimming pool by the woman he loved. When she was rescued, that woman accused her of acting like a lunatic and attacking her.

From that moment on, the title of the most notorious socialite in the East City was firmly attached to her, turning her into a laughingstock.

"Yes, ever since you fell into the water, you were unconscious for three whole days. It really worried your parents!" the maid said anxiously.

So, she had been pushed into the water.

Lishan smirked coldly.

Ten years ago, she couldn't compete with Jinxi and that woman.

But ten years later, she was determined to settle the score, making them pay back everything they owed her—tenfold, a hundredfold!

"Where are my parents?"

"They're downstairs," the maid replied, stirring up memories for Lishan.

In the past, she had reserved her tantrums and unreasonable behavior for the people she loved most, while her kindness was wasted on those who didn't deserve it.

Thankfully, fate had given her another chance to live her life again—to punish the wicked and atone for her past mistakes.

"No need, I'll go find them myself," Lishan said, tossing aside the covers and running barefoot out of the room.

Seeing her parents dining in the spacious dining room, Lishan felt a warmth in her eyes and rushed into her mother's arms.

Her mother, Zhen Hanmeng, was startled. "What's wrong, Shanshan? Are you feeling unwell? Do you need me to call the doctor?"

Lishan shook her head, unable to stop the tears from flowing.

"Hmph, I bet she's upset because she didn't see that boy from the Chi family when she woke up," her father, Qiao Hua, grumbled, though his eyes were filled with concern and love for his daughter.

Lishan shook her head. "No, Dad, I won't have anything to do with the Chi family ever again!"

"Shanshan, you shouldn't say that. Didn't you once say Jinxi was your dream?" Hanmeng gently stroked Lishan's head.

A dream, yes. But more like a nightmare.

"Mom, I'm serious!" Lishan said loudly. "In a few days, help me find a position at the company."

She had enrolled in this school because of Jinxi, but now she wanted nothing more to do with these wealthy heirs.

Hanmeng looked surprised. "Shanshan, Jinxi just called to check on you and said he wants to attend class with you tomorrow."
