C11 Price Negotiation!(part III)
"After drinking?" Ann glanced at Qiyun and hesitated, "I just like to chat with people."
Yu'an breathed a sigh of relief. That wasn't too bad. After all, the mansion had plenty of courtyards. If necessary, they could just send him somewhere else.
"Thanks!" Yu'an nodded at Ann, signaling him to step aside. Then he turned to Qiyun, "You can drink, but not at any shady places. Also, if you're going out and I need you, you have to take me with you."
Since Qiyun was known for his carefree lifestyle, Yu'an had no intention of changing him. If this arrangement could get him a free pass, it would make things much easier in the future.
Qiyun glanced at Yu'an, recognizing the shrewdness in his calculations. "Deal, but you have to tell me what you're up to," Qiyun said.
"I don't need to tell you what I'm doing, but I can tell you where I'm going," Yu'an replied.
Qiyun thought it made little difference and nodded.
"Second..." Yu'an began, but Qiyun interrupted, "I'll say the second condition."
Yu'an graciously gestured for Qiyun to continue.
"Second!" Qiyun held up two fingers, looking intently at Yu'an. "When we're around others, you have to be on my side. Don't badmouth me like everyone else."
Even if this wasn't a real marriage, he didn't want to bring an adversary home.
"Agreed!" Su Yu'an nodded. "The same goes for you. In front of others, you need to fulfill your role as my husband."
"My role as your husband?" Jiang Qiyun raised an eyebrow. "Care to elaborate?"
"Basically, it means you should stand up for me in public. If someone bullies me, you need to have my back and prioritize my interests. Even if it's someone incredibly beautiful or talented, you should be on my side."
After Su Yu'an finished speaking, she looked directly at Jiang Qiyun.
"Deal!" Jiang Qiyun agreed again.
"Shall I go first for the third point?" Su Yu'an asked, noticing Jiang Qiyun had nothing more to add. "We both need to fulfill our responsibilities and duties as a couple. I'll help take care of your parents and raise your son, and you should also show respect to my parents and care for my siblings."
"Of course, but..." Jiang Qiyun scratched his head. "My son is a bit of a handful. I'm worried you might have trouble with him."
"That's my concern. Just trust me," Su Yu'an replied confidently.
Although Su Yu'an's modern expertise is primarily in relationship counseling, she has studied child psychology and believes she can handle it.
Jiang Qiyun still felt it might be unfair to Su Yu'an, so he suggested, "How about you set another condition?"
Su Yu'an couldn't think of anything else at the moment, so she said, "Let's leave it for now. Just don't back out when the time comes!"
Upon hearing this, Jiang Qiyun was displeased. He stood up, placed one foot on the stone bench, and exclaimed, "Third Miss Su, why don't you ask around? Do you think I earned my reputation as the leader of the Four Gentlemen of the Capital by being untrustworthy? Would they follow me if I were?"
"The leader of the Four Gentlemen?" Su Yu'an looked at Jiang Qiyun with skepticism.
Jiang Qiyun's expression turned enigmatic, just as he was about to deflect with another comment, footsteps approached. He focused intently; it seemed like quite a few people were coming.
