C10 Chapter 10

Michael woke up with a headache in a gloomy room, there were spider webs in upper corner for the eye to see, the whole house was made out of wood which had not been cleaned for a while so the air was suffocating, the bed on which Michael was lying was on the 3rd corner of the room.

Soon Michael heard a voice from another corner of the room, the weak voice said " Heellp eee".

Michael got up from his bed and ran towards the voice, but he was too late and the person on the other end of the room died. Michael realized he was in a peculiar room where there were beds on the corner of the room with people on it, he wanted to check the remaining beds, but he assumed that the people were already dead. Soon after he heard another cry from another corner, and he ran towards it but after a few steps Michael had an inkling that something was wrong and suddenly the voice from the victim on the bed said " Got you! "

Right after that, an arrow was shot straight up from under Michael's feet, because he was quick to react, he jumped back by applying pressure on heels, he barely missed getting pierced by an arrow but still it graced his toes

Michael cursed " Shit ", but as soon he landed on the floor he sunk down, he said to himself " Oh shit! How is this possible? Just a moment ago the floor was still fine but now there is no footing!". He soon came to realize " That bitch is playing with me."

And then his back landed on the top of decorative metal ball stand, tears automatically formed in the eyes of Michael and the pain he suffered was insurmountable.

As he landed on the rough floor, he saw an open door, since the human mind is naive, he tried to crawl toward the door, but unfortunately a lady jumped from the 1st floor to the ground floor, she said as she stood behind Michael " Don't you look cute and stupid trying that? Let's make you so that you stop looking stupid"

Julia then Pierced two sharp rods on Michael both hands. Blood oozed out from both of Michael's hands, and he could not crawl forward because the rods nailed his hands on the ground.

Michael now started crying so loudly that the animals around the abandoned house started to notice the malice and hatred in the voice, as animals they knew that this wasn't the cry of a victim, it was a cry of something terrifying, beyond their understanding.

An automated voice sounded in Michael's head "25 % damage to evolutionary body, commencing conversion, metal detected, absorbing metallic substances"

At this moment the metal rod that was pierced started getting absorbed in Michaels body, Julia felt as if she was losing energy and immediately retracted her hands from the rod and stepped back. She was baffled as she saw the whole metal rod was getting absorbed into Michaels body.

She said to herself "there was no such power recorded in any books. who is this boy? ",

Michael's body started glowing and the system voice said " 100% matter change into usable substance, Bodies resistance level increased from 0.03 to 0.04 "

Michael's body healed while lying on the floor and the bizarre phenomena was observed by Julia, she did not approach Michael because of the fear of getting absorbed, the whole process took no more than 3 seconds, even special ability healers couldn't heal wounds this quick!

Michael started babbling while lying on the floor " That hurt, I thought I was going to meet the maker right after coming down, but he did not disappoint me "

Julia asked " you said he did not disappoint you, who do you mean? Why are you so different? "

Michael said, " Lady even if you were not a bitch, I wouldn't have answered you. "

Julia felt threatened " Getting cocky just because you can heal? "

If that is the case, I will cut you into pieces and store you into different boxes "

As she said that a sharp objected severed Michaels arm and another artificial hand got hold of the Michael's arm, the speed of Julia's floating weapons were astonishing so much so that Michael didn't even know when he got his arm taken away, Michael made a rough estimate that only took about 0.10 seconds to cut the arm and 0.20 seconds to for his broken arm to be separated 6 meters away from him.

Julia had a special ability to control certain amount of matter around her, she could raise the temperature of the matter, or she could change the shape, elasticity and could make objects semi solid or liquid and she also has the ability to do it without lifting a finger.

Michael said " Oops ", and another. Mechanical voice came " Body received a critical damage, coordinates of the lost body part located, initiating pull force "

The arm that was severed started to move from the restriction made by Julia, but Julia did not let go of the arm

System voice sounded again " Lost arm restricted by enemy, the ability to endure the pull force is extremely low " Commencing disintegration of lost arm

Michael understood what system was trying to do, it was trying to convert the served arm into trillions of fragments so that it can even pass through the space between atoms and in the process, it absorbed all the matter that was restricting the arm from moving towards its rightful owner

The severed arm with fully absorbed metal hand floated towards Michael,

Julia received a back lash because she lost the control of the metal hand made to restrict Michael's arm, she felt as though her powers were absorbed with the object again

Once again Michael healed completely, the system voice sounded

" Strength level increased from 0.005 to 0.008"

Resistance increased from 0.04 to 0.05 "

Michael was confused by these numbers but realized one thing that he was getting stronger and sturdier

Michael felt pain from this process, so he still had to get this over with as soon as possible, he kept charging towards the lady, but the lady kept piercing Michael and the same process of absorption kept happening,

As his 1 hand was destroyed while punching, he used his second arm to throw another punch. But all his punches were weak and ineffective

Blood got splattered continuously and with pull force it got absorbed with surrounding dust and broken wood

Soon Michael gained stamina and strength of 60% of special users

This kept happens for 30 minutes and the lady had exhausted most her powers and was started to get weaker whereas Michael kept getting stronger.
