System notification “mission complete bonus reward chamber of fire and ice.
Michael coughed blood while running and fell while rolling hard and smashing onto a sturdy tree, the trees in this world were also enhanced since it was necessary for them to keep up with humanities needs. The nature did change but not appearance wise but internal structure of things became more complex.
Even though Michael won in the end he gained laughs and sneers of people around him. He got up dusted himself and headed towards his home he wasn’t in the mood for running this time. He asked while walking, just tell me why did you give me a torture chamber as a reward?
System asked Michael “how did you progress so fast until now? it was because of pain and no matter how long you feel it. pain won't turn into pleasure okay, so just grow up!”
Michael asked, “in the novels the system always provides freebies to the mc why can’t you treat me as such?”
System answered “because God doesn’t want you to turn into lazy piece of shit, okay? sometimes you suck it up and now you keep complaining, Michael you are really an unpredictable host”
Michael said, “well I am still human, and I am not going to pretend when I feel discomfort.”
Michael while walking towards home saw an old lady being shoved into a car swiftly. The thing happened so fast no one had noticed it, but Michael did because his eyes after being cut up and re-joined thousands of times could detect the minute changes in the environment.
Michael said, “shouldn’t I follow that car?”
System asked, “what are you waiting for then?”
Michael said “I thought you were going to give me the mission”
System said “you stupid or something? Mission notifications are not released for something so obvious”
Michael said “system conceal me, I am going to follow the car. But before that I should call jess to leave for school without me because this is going to take up some time, isn’t it?”
Michael followed the car which was going at 200 miles per hour speed which was no problem for him as he was now.
Michael asked, “hey system could you tell me if the old lady in the car is alright or not?”
System said “she isn’t as weak as you think she is. Just follow her now.”
Michael said “the world is getting weird; it would be acceptable for a child to be kidnapped why would someone target an old lady? Maybe because of her husband's profession?”
the car stopped at the same jungle area where Michael first landed after his rebirth. michael hid behind the tree and system made michael visible again. god's rule number 1 don't attack when others cannot see you until you have a good reason to do so.
A person who was about 6.5 feet tall came out and dragged the old lady by grabbing her leg and threw her into bunch of dry bushes and started to sprinkle petrol
A Voice came from inside the car “hey druid we want her to suffer as much as she can or else the clients won't be satisfied”
The person was dressed in black and to Michael surprise it the same person who burned him to oblivion. Michael's head started to boil he couldn’t think of anything and just pounded towards the man in black. The man in black was no amateur assassin and detected the murderous intent coming towards his back
Since each special ability user had telekinetic ability, the men in black created hundreds of sulfuric acid balls and threw them at speed which Michaels physical body couldn’t keep up, Michael's body was pierced over and exploded but in just a second all the exploded pieces started to come back together, the man in black was shocked and immersed Michael's recreated body into his acid creation and the men in black could only hear the screams of Michael, the man named druid was about to kill the old lady but he stopped to see the fight
His ability was lethal one and it was to make his fist and body turn into 100-ton body and the bad thing was he could make himself run at the speed of 100meters/0.10 seconds which was half the speed of level 1 speed ability user.
He turned defensive by hearing the screams cause those screams weren’t the screams of the victim those were the screams of predator ready to kill, he activated his ability without having any awareness of it and then relaxed once got embarrassed of fearing in front of white
Druid asked, “white whom did you offend?”
White answered, “how should i know I made him molten as soon he tried to attack me, so I didn’t even see his face, but the scream does sound familiar somehow, let this tough guy burn till he dies.”
System laughed “you should have used chamber of ice and fire before to make your body resistant to this kind of damage”
Michael was pissed because he didn’t have mouth to curse this system, the system then answered you should be able to adapt to this in about 20 minutes or so.
Michael cursed “20 minutes huh? even 1 second feels like a long day in lava how do you expect me to suffer, I don’t think I can”
michael counted every second in his mind 1,2,3,4,…….1190
White and druid heard Michael's scream for 15 minutes after that the screams were starting to sound less intense and at the 19th minute there was nothing but silence, even the old lady saw this scene and couldn’t believe her own eyes
They both looked at each other with caution calculating every moment and after 1 minute a leg appeared out of the spheric acid ball but when it saw it had no footing Michael formed a fist and propelled himself to get out of the acid with just his punch
The whole spheric acid ball exploded! both white and druid could protect themselves due to their abilities, but since Michael was suffering from so much pain he forgot about old lady.
