C7 CHAPTER 7

Ella was still shocked that Damian had shouted at her there in his office. Aside from being shocked, she was also embarrassed! After descending the building, she immediately took a taxi and drove home. The first day of his mission was a failure. But never mind, there would be another opportunity.

She looked for Rebecca and asked her if she know about seducing a man. Rebecca’s eyes widened in surprise. Like Damian, she was still a child in her sight. Ella thought the old woman would scold her, but Rebecca persuaded her to sit down. Then, Rebecca shared the tips she found to seduce a man. Ella was wrong about the old woman to have never been kissed and had never been touched.

"Tell me first who the prospect is," Rebecca bargained.

"Never mind, I'll just Google it later." She couldn’t confess to Rebecca that Damian was the one she wanted to flirt with.

After she talked to Rebecca, Ella opened her laptop and looked for a job. She checked Jobstreet and other sites as well. Whenever she saw a vacancy that would fit her qualifications, she couldn’t ignore it and sent her resume to apply.

In her estimate, she applied in more than one hundred job openings and she didn’t even have a message of being accepted. She was slightly disappointed but she should keep looking for a job because it would be the only way to leave without raising suspicions.

"Oh my God !! Rebecca .....!" Ella suddenly screamed in her seat.

When she heard Ella's loud scream in the living room, Rebecca turned off the stove and ran to the girl's seat. "What happened?" anxiously, Rebecca asked the girl what had happened.

Ella showed Rebecca the message she received from a company in Cebu. "Look, I'm going for the interview!" There was a hint of excitement in her voice. She was confident that she would be hired.

"Have you informed Damian about your plan?" Rebecca asked Ella.

"Why should I? I'm old enough to decide on my own! Don't you dare tell that ogre where I'm going," she ordered Rebecca before she said goodbye to pack her things.

Rebecca was just shaken to go back to the kitchen. She did not know the cause of the tension between Ella and Damian. However, she couldnt keep Ella's plan a secret from Damian. She walked towards the telephone and dialed Damian's office number.

"What?" Damian's voice rose as Rebecca spoke on the phone. “Why would she go there right now?”

"Job interview," Rebecca replied.

"Are you sure? All right, I'm going home,” he assured Rebecca.

Damian immediately left the office. He glanced at the time in his wearing Rolex. He drove fast but when he arrived, Ella was about to go inside the cab she hailed. As fast as he could, he went out of his car and immediately blocked the departing woman. Sh didn't even open the car window so he still had to knock on it.

"You! How long have you been like that? My God Ella, you are impossible!" He was overwhelmed with restraint because he really wanted to punish her at the moment!

"Don't worry, Damian. If the job interview goes well tomorrow, it might be a long time before I get back here. You should be grateful because I'll finally be gone from your life,” she told him.

Damian's eyebrows crossed when he heard what the girl said. Very rude! "Don't you know how to think? It's your first time to be alone in a new place and you'll be there at night. You're so fearless, Madame!"

"I know, right? As I've said, don't worry. Because someone will come after me," he lied.

"Who?" Damian asked but instead of answering, she closed the window and instructed the driver to immediately leave. He could do nothing but follow it with his gaze. Damian doubted whether to follow it or just let it go? He was worried for the woman. But what would he do? He picked up his cellphone and called Mori.
