C18 You Are Tempted!

His face looked especially eerie under the dim light, with the scarred flesh turned outward, bumpy and rough, yet the texture was strikingly clear. Xia Xiaowu felt a shiver run down her spine.

“Creep!”

She lifted her leg, aiming a knee strike at him, but he managed to block it with his hand. In that moment, his gaze turned fierce, and he swiftly scooped her up.

“Let me go... let me go!”

Xia Xiaowu struggled with all her might, but his strength was overwhelming, and she was no match for him.

“You can scream louder if you want. The old lady’s people and my half-sister love eavesdropping,” Bai Sichen said coldly, silencing Xia Xiaowu with a single sentence.

She was tossed onto the bed, but Bai Sichen showed no intention of stopping there.

Lowering her voice, she said, “Bai Sichen, we’re partners, equals. You don’t even like me, so why are you doing this?”

She swung her fists wildly, but he blocked every attempt. Suddenly, Bai Sichen grabbed Xia Xiaowu’s chin with such force that she felt like her bones might shatter.

"Whether I touch you or not is up to me. Feelings don't matter. The more you fear and resist, the more it torments you!"

He looked down at her, his gaze like a king surveying his realm.

His words, however, sparked a realization in Xiaowu. She started to understand his mindset, which made things easier for her.

In the next moment, a sly smile spread across her face. Her slender, pale arm wrapped around his neck as she spoke in a soft, alluring voice, "How else can I capture your heart if not like this?"

"Sichen, just admit it. You're not punishing me; that slap made you fall for me."

Xiaowu winked at him, her warm lips moving closer, whispering in his ear. Her hand gently pulled open one side of his robe, tracing circles on his firm chest.

Bai Sichen was completely stunned, staring at her without moving.

Suddenly, she whispered sweetly in his ear, "I planned to tie you up and have my way with you last night, but you passed out. Tonight, you won't escape my grasp!"

At this moment, Bai Sichen felt his blood rushing through his veins. This woman, truly, some things never change.

He had thought she might have changed because of the upheaval in her family, but to his surprise, she was still the same spoiled, uneducated, and extravagant woman with no sense of shame.

In that moment, Xia Xiaowu noticed a flicker of disdain in Bai Sichen's eyes, which only boosted her confidence. It seemed he had taken the bait.

Her smile deepened as she lifted her long legs slightly, wrapping them around his waist. She continued, "No man has ever escaped from me. My boyfriends have always treated me well. Sichen, you should be even more gentle, right?"

"Boyfriends?" Bai Sichen repeated the word in a low, hoarse voice, feeling a surge of anger.

As expected, this woman was no good, just as the rumors said. How infuriating to be played like a fool.

"Sichen, hurry up, I can't wait any longer!" Her voice grew softer and more enticing as she squirmed impatiently.
