Episode thirteen:Strange butterflies .

At least, chatting with Oliver takes her mind off a whole lot of things, most especially the unpleasant memories.

Oliver called Mandy again, apparently the chatting wasn't really okay for him and he badly wanted to hear her voice and her response to his teases. Although she wasn't just typing with words , she was using emojis and stickers well. He didn't want to imagine her tone or try to make up her reaction and countenance by just reading. He wanted to be able to tell from her sweet voice.

Mandy excused herself to pick the call without saying a word to Maxwell and this had Maxwell on his toes, he was suspicious at that moment because, the one thing Mandy doesn't do or has never done was to keep something from him and now that she is excusing herself to take the geek glasses guy call really made him uncomfortable.

To Maxwell, for Mandy to pick the call secretly, it means there is more to the relationship than she is telling him but who is he kidding? She is not even telling him anything at all!

Maxwell clasped his two hands together and placed his elbow on the table dramatically before placing his jaw on his clasped hands.

"I have to do everything to make, whatever it is that is going on between Mandy and this guy ends as abruptly as it began. It shouldn't even see the next moon."Maxwell thought within himself.

Maxwell' strongly believes that if this continues between Mandy and the guy, it is going to destroy his relationship with his sister completely and he won't have any place in her heart anymore, he feels that if this, referring to Oliver and Mandy relationship continues, Mandy is going to distance herself from him completely.

"It hasn't even been a complete day and she is already excusing herself to take discreet calls, where on earth did this antagonist come from?."Maxwell whispered carefully.

In Mandy's room, she kept talking happily with Oliver on the phone. Just Oliver's smile brings butterflies to her stomach.

Oliver is a great talker, he is nice, he is jovial, he is so everything.

After ending the call, Mandy dressed up. She wore a short straight skirt, a black laced top and wore matching sneakers.

Before Oliver ended the call, he had mentioned that he is going out to stroll so Mandy wanted to see him again but she didn't tell him of her intentions, she wanted it to seem like a coincidence.

She spent hours in front of the mirror, making up her face and she was finally done.

"Mandy, are you stupid? Applying makeup to buy something down the street, is that even a credible lie? ."She asked herself, still assessing her face in front of the mirror. She eventually rushed to the toilet to wash her face but it only got worse.

She had to sit down and wipe her face thoroughly clean with a wiper. When she was sure that her face was free from makeup, she went to the bathroom and splashed water on her face before applying a face cream on her face. She packed her hair up in a bun and let some fall by the side.

She felt comfortable and satisfied with her look before stepping out of her room.

When she got to the sitting room, Maxwell was watching a documentary series but she didn't even spare him a glance.
