‘‘Thanks, darling’’. Jemma took the bags off me and took them into the kitchen. All the girls were sitting with their men but as soon as Jem announced that it was time for dinner, everyone sat down in their familiar seats at the dining table and the girls headed back to help with the food. I figured that was my job as well and followed them.
