“I love you, Jade,” Jackson said softly, his dark eyes piercing mine as he kissed the back of my hand like a gentleman.

I was shocked at this gesture; why would he be so sweet and soft toward me? What did he want from me? I had a lot of questions, but they were left unanswered.
