The world fades in and out as I feel myself being lifted off the chair I sit on and dragged across the room and into another. When I’m released, I feel something soft and fluffy beneath me.

Just to my right, I can hear muffled conversation, but due to the ringing in my ears, I can’t quite make out what is being said.
