C3 Marrying the Mighty Is the Only Way
The masked man frowned slightly, then impatiently set down his cup. "Women, such trouble. Better off dead." He stood up after delivering this cold remark. "If she wants to marry, let her. Marry her off to Mighty." "I'm leaving. There's news from the other side." With that, his figure vanished in a flash, reappearing over a hundred yards away.
The man in the green robe chuckled because Mighty was just a guard dog at the prince's residence. He actually suggested that the continent's most beautiful woman, his fiancée, marry a dog. But then again, the girl had been disfigured and was no longer the continent's top beauty. If she stayed in the Myriad Flower Tower for seven more days, or even just an hour, she'd only be fit to marry a dog from the prince's residence. The man in the green robe shook his head in pity, then rose and disappeared from the rooftop.
...
The Myriad Flower Tower was the most renowned brothel in the entire land. It wasn't just in this city; other countries and even the capital had them. So, the grandeur of the Myriad Flower Tower was beyond question, attracting the wealthy and influential. But today, a long line had formed outside the Myriad Flower Tower. Unlike usual, the line was filled with peddlers and even quite a few ragged, dirty beggars.
Their goal was singular: to visit the Myriad Flower Tower, where Princess Mingyue was offering her services for free for seven days, starting today.
At noon, a clear gong sounded, and the doors of the Myriad Flower Tower swung open. Out stepped Xiangxiang, the flamboyantly dressed and strikingly made-up manager of the establishment.
"Please be patient, everyone. Princess Mingyue is getting ready and will soon begin receiving guests. As per General Lin's instructions, all of Princess Mingyue's patrons will be served free of charge. However, due to the overwhelming number of visitors, each person is limited to fifteen minutes."
"Fifteen minutes? That's way too short!" someone immediately protested from the back.
"Exactly, just fifteen minutes? You barely get to enjoy yourself before time's up. How can you savor the experience?" another chimed in.
"Shut it, you bald-headed blacksmith. You're lucky to even get a chance with the most beautiful woman around. Stop being so picky. Do you think you could last an hour?" Xiangxiang spat back, silencing the named blacksmith, who was left speechless and embarrassed, while the surrounding men burst into laughter.
"Alright, first one, go ahead," Xiangxiang gestured to the first man in line.
The first man was in his thirties, short and unremarkable, with a faint scent of manure clinging to him as he walked.
He was a stable hand, and not just any stable hand—he was Princess Xiangxiang's personal groom. His first task was to humiliate Mingyue as much as possible. Only then could he ease the grudge Princess Xiangxiang held in her heart.
Guided by a young maid from the Myriad Flower Tower, the groom entered the room where Princess Mingyue was temporarily receiving guests. The room was filled with the scent of flowers, and everything was a vibrant shade of red.
Princess Mingyue, having changed her clothes, sat quietly on the bed. Her lowered head and the strands of hair falling over her face concealed the fierce scars. Thanks to some ointment applied earlier, the wounds didn’t look as red and swollen as before.
The groom rubbed his hands together and quickly approached the bed. He swiftly removed his outer and middle garments, leaving only his underclothes, and reached out to touch Princess Mingyue's chin.
