C4 The Youth with His Eyes Covered

Although her face was marred, the smoothness of her skin was unforgettable, leaving an itch in one's heart just thinking about it. But then, the unexpected happened. Just as his hand was about to touch Princess Mingyue's chin, two slender fingers struck his elbow with lightning speed, hitting a pressure point.

In a swift move, Princess Mingyue slipped behind the coachman, pulling the hairpin from his topknot and pressing it against his throat. Before he could cry out, a sharp pain pierced his neck. As he regained his senses, a soft, melodious voice whispered in his ear:

"When a third of a person's blood is lost, they feel weak, dizzy, and faint. But when two-thirds is gone, they feel detached, as if their soul is soaring to the heavens."

The voice was like music from another world, the most beautiful sound imaginable, yet the words were chilling. The coachman's pupils constricted instantly, for he recognized the voice as belonging to none other than Princess Mingyue, the unique jewel of the land.

"Of course, I personally think this feeling is akin to the thrill of love, though I've never experienced it. So, would you like to experience the ultimate joy of this world for me?"

The coachman was stunned, abandoning his mission and desperately pleading for his life:

"Please, Your Highness, spare me! Have mercy!"

"You want me to spare you? Fine, then tell me who the woman was that scarred my face at the execution ground."

"It was... it was Princess Xiangxiang, the only daughter of the Holy Emperor."

"The Holy Emperor?" Lo Li's brow furrowed tightly at the mention of the Holy Emperor.

"What is the Holy Emperor's daughter doing here? Wasn't it General Lin from Ximu who was leading the attack on Yan Country?"

The coachman hurriedly replied, terrified of losing his life if he delayed:

"My princess came for you, Princess Mingyue, because she is infatuated with the Ximu prince. She heard you were engaged to him and wanted to ruin it."

Lo Li snorted, understanding the situation.

With a swift move, she pressed a spot on the coachman's neck, causing his eyes to roll back as he collapsed unconscious.

Seeing him out cold on the ground, Lo Li smirked wickedly, tossing the hairpin she held onto his body. A faint red gleam flickered in her otherwise cool eyes.

She quickly changed into the coachman's clothes. Fortunately, Mingyue's body hadn't developed much yet, making it easier to disguise herself.

The clothes weren't fully on yet when a gentle breeze swept through, carrying a hint of jasmine fragrance.

"You shouldn't have just knocked him out; you should have killed him to prevent any future trouble."

The voice was as melodious as a mountain stream, with a magnetic quality unique to men.

Lo Li turned her head in surprise and saw a young man sitting on the window sill, though she hadn't noticed when he arrived. He wore a simple white linen outfit, with long hair tied casually at the back, and a white cloth covered his eyes. The breeze played with the cloth's tassels and his hair, making him look like a celestial being descended to earth.

"Who are you? Are you here to humiliate me like the others?" Lo Li's initial shock faded, and she stepped back, regaining her composure.

"Of course not. I'm just passing by and wanted to see the beauty of the continent's most renowned woman."
