C10 Lounge 402

My wounds healed at a speed that was inconceivable to me. I removed the gauze and only two bite scars were left on my shoulders.

"Stupid fox, die!"

I cursed. The scar was deep, and I was afraid it would stay there forever.

My fingers move slowly to my shoulder, and suddenly there's a pain in my shoulder. My eyes shut instinctively, and I see the face that I loathe and fear in my mind.

The corners of my mouth curled up as I stared at him with eyes full of evil.

I shivered, and then the door opened and I pulled on my clothes and saw my mother come in from outside.

"Mom."

"Miss, you should go back to school."

"Isn't Dad still not back yet? I'll wait a few more days. The supervisor has taken a leave of absence. "

"It's your Lord Third's wish. You can't stay in the village any longer, and don't come back for the summer vacation."

"Why?"

"Don't ask, do as San Ye says."

When I came back, I was in a hurry. I watched as Mom opened the closet and took out all my summer clothes and stuffed them into the box. At that moment, I suddenly had a strange feeling.

Mom found a car to take me, and I took the case with me. I still wasn't at ease, as Dad and the others hadn't come back from the mountains yet. "Mom, Dad is back to call me."

"Got it, take good care of yourself."

Mom bit her lip, and I knew she couldn't bear to part with me, so I got in the car and drove off with it to the village. I bought a ticket to the county town, took a ride, and finally got back to school.

When I got out of the car, it was already dark. I took out my phone. There were a few missed calls from Liu Yu. He must have gone crazy from his anxiety.

What can I do? I can only evade. The truth is too cruel, even absurd, for me and Liu Yu.

The phone simply shut down. I stood at the school entrance, looking at the familiar gate, once again standing here, things had changed. I was broken by the damn fox, and I even bumped into a ghost.

The security guard was sitting in the doorway. He was in his fifties, so he seemed very easy-going. I waved to him out of habit and quickly walked in.

"Su Lin, where have you been these past few days?"

"Yeah, I was unable to contact you, so I thought you and Liu Yu had eloped."

"Speak, where did you go to have fun?"

When I walked into the dorm, my sisters immediately surrounded me. Women were always curious about these things, and I didn't want to say a word, even the lies I made up along the way.

"I had something to do at home, so I went back."

"I knew it."

I put down the box and walked up the middle of the bed along a ladder. I leaned on it, completely exhausted. I lied on top of it, not wanting to move at all.

"Su Lin, we have a friend in the department tonight. Are you coming?"

"No, you guys have a good time."

"Those who went were all handsome men. You better not hang yourself on a tree. Let's go."

"I really am not going."

"Let's go, it's time."

The door to the dormitory was quickly closed. I lay on the bed, not wanting to move at all.

Friendship is a popular social activity among university freshmen. It is between two departments on a large scale, with several dorms or a circle of friends on a small scale. The purpose is very simple, to make life in a boring university more colorful and to increase the chances of coming into contact with the opposite sex.

Creak * The wind blew in, and the door slowly opened.

I opened my eyes and heard the door creak, and my whole body tensed.

The dormitory did not turn on any lights, only the dim light coming through the window. I was the only one left in the room.

"Who?"

I whispered, slowly poking my head out of the bed.

No one was there. The door was just ajar, perhaps because of the wind blowing it open, but the curtain seemed to have moved, or maybe it was some other dormitory's prank.

I slowly got out of bed, thirsty, and got down from the water dispenser to the bottom of the water.

Bang, bang, bang. I stood at the door of the dormitory next door and knocked lightly. The door creaked open from the inside.

"Su Lin, you didn't join us?"

"No, Xiao Ya, why didn't you go?"

"No meaning. Come in."

The door opened and I followed in. The dorm was a little messy. I held a glass of water and said, "The dorm is empty. Do you still have any water left?"

"Yes, you can answer it yourself."

"Alright."

As I walked in, I realised that the dormitory was dark. "Xiao Ya, why don't you turn on the lights?"

"Ah, it's nothing. I was just about to go to sleep when I heard your knock on the door."

Xiao Ya stood beside the door with the light switch beside her body. It didn't seem like she wanted to switch on the light. I walked over to get a glass of water and said a few words before coming out.

Crash! The door slammed shut with a loud sound. It was as if someone had forcefully pushed it open from the inside.

I frowned. Did I make Xiao Ya angry?

"Xiao Ya, Xiao Ya …"

I turned to the door and whispered her name. I could hear a strange sound coming from the dormitory, like someone was crying.

Wuu wuu wuu wuu …

The sound of crying continuously emanated from the dormitory. It was very sad.

"Xiao Ya, what's wrong? "Open the door, it's Su Lin." My hand fell on the door.

"Mind your own business!"

That voice, I stepped back, my head hitting the wall behind me, that voice wasn't Xiao Ya's, it was scary.

What's going on!

As my body pressed against the cold wall, I couldn't help but shiver. A door separated me and Xiao Ya into two completely different worlds. I had no idea what was going on inside.

Xiao Ya's crying voice could still be heard from inside. Something must have happened.

I turned and ran for the stairs, ran all the way to the first floor, and bumped into a man.

"Ah!"

"Are you okay?"

I clutched my chest. The one who came up from below was a man, followed by a few others. I recognised one of them, the auntie who was in charge of the dormitory.

"Auntie, bed402, Xiaoya has been crying. I'm worried that something might have happened to her."

"Room 402!" "Which dorm room did the girl who just called say she lived in?" The man frowned and turned to look behind him.

"It's 402."

"Let's go."

A few men ran up, and I followed them, my footsteps clattering in the gloom of the stairwell, and soon I was on the fourth floor.

"Open the door. Open the door."

The security personnel rammed the door a few times. Even if there was a key, it would be useless if the door was plugged in from the inside.

"Blast it open, quick."

"Auntie, what happened?"

The few of them started to slam against the door, causing a loud noise. The door of the dorm shook as well.

"I just received a call from a girl who cried and said that someone wanted to hurt her. She immediately asked which dorm it was and said 402."

402, Xiao Ya, it must be Xiao Ya.

What was wrong with her?

I suddenly thought of something. When I went in to fetch the water, Xiao Ya had been standing at the doorway from the start until I left. She hadn't moved at all and her left side was obviously tilted backwards.

Xiao Ya was not wearing a pajamas, but shoes. She was clearly lying.

"Xiao Ya, it's Su Lin. Open the door."

I shouted loudly, but there was no sound from the inside. With a 'ka' sound, the dormitory door opened.

"Ah!

Screams! The door of the dormitory burst open. Xiao Ya leaned against the bed, her eyes wide open. There was clearly something tied to her neck.

"Save him!"

In less than ten minutes, Xiao Ya died. She hung by her bedside, her tongue protruding out, her hair hanging in disarray, and her white eyes wide open.

"Call the police."

"Let me inform the director first."

"Alright."

His hands were obviously shaking as he took out his phone. Very soon, the school's security chief arrived. With a gloomy face, he cursed for a while.

"Who saw it?"

"There's only one female student from the dormitory next door."

"Hold her, don't let her talk. The most important thing is that no photos are allowed."

"Got it."

When I saw that person walking towards me, I instinctively retreated. I would also be surprised if tonight, only Xiao Ya and I were left on the fourth floor.

More accurately speaking, I'm the only one left.

"Phone, take it out."

"On what basis?"

"Hurry up."

I had no choice but to take out the phone. He stared at me, and all I could do was type in the code slowly. The instant the phone screen lit up, the man suddenly screamed and fell back onto the floor.

"What is it?"

I looked at the phone in my hand and saw that it was empty. Why was he so scared?

"There's a picture of the girl when she died on the phone."

"What!?"

I clenched my teeth. This was a phone that I had to work a month to buy, so I kept it with great care.

"Where?"

"Yes, I saw it."

The man was helped to his feet. His face was pale and his body was shaking uncontrollably.

"What are you doing!"

Kacha. The phone was thrown to the ground. When my leather shoes stepped on it, the screen split open. I pushed away the man forcefully and picked him up from the ground.

His phone could be considered to be completely disabled.

"What right do you have to break my phone?!" I cried out, angry at his actions.

"Buy you another good one. Remember, don't tell anyone about this. Cooperating with the school will benefit you. If it doesn't work on the school, you should be clear about the consequences."

I held the broken phone and looked at the man in front of me. He was in his forties, fat and fierce, and they called him the High Commissioner.

I couldn't believe he was threatening me, using that kind of attitude to threaten a girl who had just entered the university.

"Xiao Ya is dead."

"The school will handle this. Call the police, go down and watch, no one is allowed to enter."

"Alright."

Someone ran down the stairs, and I was dragged down the stairs, and I remembered the guy's face, and not just because he was hateful, but because he owed me a cell phone.
