C60 Making Freya my vice

Artemis pov

She watched the catastrophe in front of her with curiosity. Her brows furrowed and creased everytime they bantered and cursed at one another.

She was in the multi-billion dollar group for the first time and she was my vice chairman. Freya, my mate, and Luna

“She is not capable of leading, hell she doesn't know anything about leading,” Marc snarled.

“She can't be our vice chairman,” Rose supported.

I peeked a glance at a very calm Freya who just seemed to listen and not care about their opinion. She was quiet and merely stared at every one of them. They didn't want this, didn't want her to rule by my side.

“I don't care about your opinions but she’s my mate therefore making her the vice chairman,” I connoted

Marc opened his mouth to speak once more, but Jude was quick to step in, “let her be, she has to learn to know, after all she needs the experience,” as he spoke he balanced gaze with Freya who's eyes were locked on his.

Jude had the majority of the court to his favor, so when he spoke, every one of his minions listened to him, and hid to his words, something I found very funny because just in the matter of time he was going to be in my palm.

“So how does the present Luna have in mind about our current company situation,” Marc stared at her Intently for a reply.

“You are kidding me, she doesn't even know the present situation our company is in,” Van pointed out. One of the few that was on my side.

He spilled the fact because Freya had just joined the company not close to eight hours of entering and they were already demanding that she profound solution to a problem she barely knew.

“It's been two day since she joined the group,” Rose reminded, “and in those two days she should have gotten information of what's going on in the company that she was going to be the vice chairman,” she stated.

“Tell her the problem first and let’s hear what she has to say,” Oslo came to her aid. My gamma and beta were part of the group. I was listening in on their points. Freya had to be stronger if she was going to belong. The court was a jungle and everyone needed to be a predator to survive in it.

I stayed still and observed her, ever since the banter on her, she had not let any emotion slip, she kept an emotionless face with a comported posture, her eyes darted from their mouth to their eyes, studying each character that spoke without comment.

“She should have discovered the problem by herself two days ago,” Marc spoke with a creased brow with his finger jabbing the table.

“So she just walk and the first thing she goes in search for is problem?” Van asked incredulously.

“Well why not, I see nothing wrong with that if you ask me,” Marc responded.

“What is the problem,” all head snapped to the individual that owned that voice.

“What is the problem?” she repeated when no answer was offered.

“The company has been experiencing some sort of downfall due to some unguarded rumors,” Rose took to answering for the group.

I listened impecably for her answer, one because, that rumor began because of a certain individual in this group; Jude.

And secondly, I was curious as to what should be profound for solution to the problem.

All gaze were now fixated on her, Freya. All ears perked, eager to hear her speak.

“Rumors can only be stopped by rumors. Stories for stories, so let's give the media a story to tell,” she answered sweetly.

Everyone’s mouth dropped as they gaped at her although I doubt I was the only one that didn't fully grasped the magnitude of her words.

“And soo?” Marc prodded.

“We should look for dirt on another organization and sell it to the media, something more horrifying than whatever you were accused of and then while we are at that, run a movement campaign for our products in a way that brings down our competitors and set us as the hero,” she narrated, giving us the full blue print of her plan.

She had the dark side just like me.

I felt my mouth turn up in a smirk as I knew that she was both angel and devil. They cleared their throats as they thought of her solution, it was excellent.

“So now I'm sure, I wouldn't be reprimanded for not doing my duty and research,” she taunted.

“Where’s my office going to be at,” she asked with a smile. A fake one.

Jude’s eyes held so much hate and detest.

“About the pack that were present,” Iris began.

“I heard that we had small problem during the event, what was that again? Aha, a stalker. Freya you never mentioned you have a stalker,” Jude changed the topic, bringing the attention to the fault in that night.

“I—-”

“She told me,” I cut in, “she told me about her stalker and we kept tab on him,” I locked gaze with him as I followed up with my next word, “we in fact have him,” that was a lie, but he didn't need to know that.

I was thinking Freya would crack her head to my side but she was rather very seren as she shut gaze with Jude, maintaining his eyes.

“So you have him?” he probed.

“I do, I can show you later,” I assured him. It was at that point Freya took a peek at me. Don't worry my dear I have a plan.

“Okay then,” his response was a little stiff and low.

“The pack,” Iris began again.

“My beta believes that the packs are conspring against us, said their attitude was off the previous meeting. They are acting suspicious,” I said.

“Well then they wouldn't be able to do anything, they know who's in charge,” Marc said with grin

“This is serious, they are acting like they have a secret weapon, something to their advantage,” iris reported.

“Well what could they possibly have?” Grey finally spoke up after a while of being silent.

“I don't know but they were very confident,” Iris confirmed.

“All of them?” Freya asked.

“No, but a handful.”

“Why?” Rose was surprised

“Well for people to go after a big part it means that they've gotten their hands on something promising, that's the only way to betray a trust,” Jude stated in a matter of fact tone. He knew something, he gave of that look and vibe. His arrogance was only being suppressed by his logic, because it seemed like all he wanted to do was explode.

“I think we have a mole then,” Freya said as she looked at every one of us, “they can't suddenly become wild without a little boost, and that boost is our very own mole.”

Everyone darted their eyes at each other wondering who the traitor was.

“How can you be sure?” Rose queried with slight curiosity and disdain.

“Because I know where the person is,” she announced as we all gasped.

“What!” everyone mouthed.
