C90 Having my Baby

Freya's Pov

“Freya!” I heard and snapped my neck at the direction the voice was coming from. I wanted to shout out his name, conjure it but they didn't form as real words, they only came out short as air leaving my lips.

“Freya!” this time the voice called more fervently breaking me from my reverie. I choked, “Tobias!” and ran to him.

He was at the opposite side of the woods with Merona beside him beckoning me to come. Merona stood perplexed, “are you okay?” she asked with real worry on her face.

“Let’s go!” Tobias yelled.

“Yes yes,” I nodded. It was all just an imagination, Artemis was not here. We had to run before he caught on.

I ran into Tobias arms then I felt it, the sharp pain searing through my womb and I growled from agony. They all stopped and peered at me with worry etched on their beautiful faces.

“Freya,” Rachael ran to me.

“It's time,” I grunted and clenched my palm from pain, hoping that I would rein it in. But the pain wasn't something I could control, it rocked my body and spread through me like fuming fire. A primal growl left my lips and my knees buckled, sending me on my knees.

“Oh no no, please not now,” Merona cried and I glared at her.

“It's coming,” I dragged and drew in a long, shaky breath.

“Can't you hold it in?” she asked innocently.

“She can't!” Rachael took to answering for me.

“What do we do?” Tobias asked confused and I didn't know any worse word than confused, oh yeah frustrated. He was frustrated, he took a fistful of his hair, eyes staring at Rachael searchingly for an answer.

“What?” she asked, looking from Tobias to Merona.

Another cry left me and I clutched Tobias forcefully from pain. He grimaced and sent a pleading look at Rachael.

“Okay I'll say it,” Merona declared, “you are the only girly girl here, so what do we do?”

She was about to yell before another cry of agony left me.

“No, I can feel it, I can feel it, phew phew,” I tried to breathe.

“Oh no we need help,” cried Merona.

“You think? Grab her,” Rachael commanded and we all shut her a glare like one insane.

“My bad, I meant to say, carry her,” she corrected and Tobias picked me up in a bridal style.

The sudden need to smack him enticed me, and for a moment it seemed as though it might end the pain however I couldn't, not when he wasn't—- “Argh!” he yelled as I slapped him angrily.

“Sorry, she'll do that more often,” Rachael said. As if her words were her clue, Merona ran forward in order to avoid my wrath.

I didn't mind her though, I had just the right person by my side. When the pain hit again, I hesitated not to strike Tobias by the arm.

We needed to get to the city, city,it was then that I realized how further into the woods we were.

Were we ever going to make it out? I thought in the midst of my pain.

The pain resurfaced, so hard that I couldn't continue.

“It's coming, it's coming,” I yelled in horror. We had reconnected with our pack members that were lucky to escape.

“Now?” Merona asked in terror.

“Yes!” I growled, “fucking now!” my voice sounded to my ear as animalistic and primal.

“Set her down,” I heard, “Merona get the older women,” she instructed.

I thrashed in pain, shouting and scattering my body.

“You,” Rachael faced Tobias, “you just hold onto her,” she told him and he nodded firmly.

“I'm so—- noo!” another scream.

****

The pain dulled and what was left was the pleasure of having my babies with me. I gave birth to twins two years ago and now, they have become so adorable.

I for one was glad that they looked nothing like their father, that everyone said was a lie, they often said that they had the beauty of both I and their father. Something I would never agree to.

“Your father sent another letter,” I told Tobias, who was lying by my side.

Over the past years I had taken to it my priority to make sure that he settled with his father and his reply often than once had remained the same, “I don't care.”

It was not as though Alpha Rex didn't abuse me and as though I had forgotten everything; however , if what I had learned from my years of struggling and survival was that hold unto those who were alive, regret was a plague that would eat one whole.

“I don't care about what he has to say,” Tobias stated, “I only care about our small family and pack,” he muttered with a kiss on my forehead.

“We would need help, Artemis would come back. We both know that and we need all the help we could muster,” I told him.

“We would be ready, besides there's no help, all the pack are scared as hell at the mention of his name, it seemed as though we are the outcast,” he said in a thoughtful manner.

“I could care less about who supports us, all I want is for you to settle with your father,” I said.

“I don't understand,” he pulled away to examine my face.

“Why do you want us to settle? Have you forgotten how badly he treated you? Sold you for his own selfish gain?” he asked as though he couldn't believe that I was the same one asking him to mend his relationship with his father.

“I do and I haven't forgiven him yet, but you and I are different, you are his son, his flesh and blood,” I said searching his gaze for any glint but I found none, “besides you were the one that asked me to forgive my father,” I reminded him.

“Your father wasn't a monster Freya,” he said and I laughed dryly, “oh why really, he chose his pack over me, he sold me for his pack. If you ask me, that's some really monstrous thing to do,” I said.

“I understand but your father—-”

“He was no hero, he didn't win the war and he was part of the reason I went through trials and sufferings,” I stated, “but I forgive him, why can't you do the same to your father?” I queried, getting annoyed.

Tobias rolled from the bed and stood up, “because it's not the same,” he said getting frustrated, “why do you care so much though?” The question posed no harm but I took offence to it.

I met him by the closet, “because Tobias, I don't have any family, I want our children to have a family—-”

“You have a family Freya, you have me, Rachael, Merona and the pack, that's enough of family,” he stated.

“The one we aren't sure if it'd be here when Artemis strikes, yeah some family that is,” I said with sarcasm dripping like venom from my tongue.

“Freya I'll do it when I'm ready, now let's forget about my father and Artemis and go for a run,” he said, teasing my lips with his.

“I know, it is just I didn't have anyone, I want my children to have all the love in this world and family,” I muttered solemnly.

He connected his lips, “they would, I promise.”

“And a land and territory of their own, especially when I'll be full for you,” I said again and he grinned.

“Oh don't worry, you will have more than a fill of me,” he said and grabbed my ass from behind.

I yelped, “and now for the offer,” he drew me in, “want to go for a run?” he asked and I nodded smiling.

“Well then follow me my lady,” he said and guided me out.

The feeling was like none other, I felt the rush of adrenaline as we stood in the woods about to shift. Tobias turned to me and took off my clothes slowly, his gaze fixated on mine.

He drew me closer and whispered, “time to shift,” he said and I quivered uncontrollably from his touch and voice.

He winked at me, and ran into the air and his wolf stood on all four. Like motivation, I vibrated and shut my eyes, reminiscing the feeling of the snapping of bone, shift and switching to the right spot.

And before I knew it, I pawed the ground on all four. Tobias nudged me with his nose and took off, immediately without trepidation I followed suit, running beside him.

The wind brushed through my fur and I felt free, liberated. Digging the soil, we ran across the woods, going out into the meadow, and to the greener lands with fresh lewds.

I was happy, and I was quick to judge when my happiness and moment of bliss was short lived.

“Loretta,” I gasped and shifted back.

“Loretta!”
