C6 The drug's after-effect

Cindy had her eyes glued to the door Edward had walked out from ten minutes ago, and she hadn’t taken her eyes off ever since.

She needed to give him time to catch Daisy in the act and then maybe go after him. She knew Edward loves Daisy so much, and that would definitely break him. Then, when he is at his lowest, it would be easier to succeed in seducing him.

She is ignorant of what the Lady from the Coasters wants to do with her seducing Edward and sleeping with him, but she does not care. Cindy is only particular about following every instruction from the mysterious Lady as long as she gets something in return, and since Edward is quite handsome and a great catch, there’s nothing to lose.

Besides, she has always been jealous of Daisy, so she thinks this is a great chance for herself too.

Cindy turned her head to the side to stare at the table Daisy had gotten up from. Now there was Rose sitting there and checking her wristwatch from time to time.

Five minutes ago, she had come in and asked about Daisy when she couldn’t find her, and Cindy had told her she wasn’t sure where she had gone, and she probably might have gone to the ladies.

Now, Rose seemed to be waiting for Daisy.

‘Daisy is being fucked right now. She won’t be back anytime soon,’ Cindy mocked in her mind, the corners of her lips slightly curling upward. The handsome artiste before her, engaging her with his achievements and the different countries he had toured all over the world, thought Cindy was smiling at whatever he just said, which she didn’t even hear, so he fired on in his blabbing more confidently and enthusiastically.

Suddenly, Cindy raised her left hand at him, indicating for him to stop. The handsome guy paused abruptly, feeling stunned and clearly flustered.

'Why would she smile at me and then cut me short seconds later?'

“I’m sorry, Josh, but I need to get going now,” Cindy said, picked up her bag, and got up. Josh nodded, slightly embarrassed as he watched the sexy pretty Lady get up.

“Can I at least get your number?” he breathed out.

Cindy sighed, then after contemplating briefly, she eventually penned down her number on an idle sheet on the table.

He smiled lightly. “Thanks.”

She nodded, and without sparing him another glance, she turned on her heels and left the room. Only one thing was on her mind, and she had her head straight on getting it done.

Cindy shut the door behind her and stared down the corridor. By now, she was sure the drug would have fully taken effect. She had never had to put in much effort in getting a man as she is actually a sexy, irresistible woman, but then she’s aware of how much Edward is in love with Daisy.

Would he resist her?

He shouldn’t.

After all, by now, he should have seen Daisy in the arms of another man, so wouldn’t he be so broken by now?

She remembered how uncomfortable he seemed when he came in earlier, despite how well he tried to hide it. By now, he really wouldn’t be able to resist her.

She walked down confidently and turned left but found the place empty, so she knocked on the room she had booked for the gigolo. The wild-looking man opened the door and stared at her.

“You said Daisy would be coming here, but I haven’t seen her,” he scoffed.

Hearing that, her eyes widened.

“She didn’t come here?” Cindy asked, perplexed and in disbelief.

The Lady from Coaster had told her to only make sure to get Daisy in the room and seduce Edward afterwards. She had promised to take care of the rest.

What would she do now?

Why had the Lady not called since Daisy had not fallen into the trap?

She puffed her cheeks angrily and brought out her phone to dial Daisy’s number, which went unanswered.

Cindy sneered, ‘Is she not just delaying her woe?’

She looked back up at him and sighed. “I guess you can go.”

“My money?” He scoffed. “I literarily wasted my time here waiting for nobody.”

“I’ll transfer in full, don’t worry.

"The guy smirked, “Good girl.” Then he gave her a creepy look. “How about you come in for a quickie? I’m pretty much very good. I’ll make it really fast,” he winked, and Cindy scoffed irritably. “And who are you to even touch me?”

His smile froze at that.

"Then get lost bitch!” he barked.

“And remember to remain tight-lipped,” Cindy countered back.

“Just send my money first,” and with that, he slammed the door in her face.

Suddenly remembering Edward would have gotten here since he had asked her earlier about her whereabouts, she placed a knock again, and the door was pulled open.

The guy glared at her angrily.

“What?”

“Edward was here?” she asked, ignoring his attitude, and he rolled his eyes. “He left already, about four minutes ago.” Then he slammed the door shut once more.

Cindy immediately turned and ran out of the place. If she was fast enough, she would meet him in the underground parking lot.

As she ran for the elevator, she met Chris, who suddenly appeared opposite her, and she just hastily threw him a wave.

He seemed a bit drunk.

Cindy got into the elevator, and while she stood in there, she panted heavily. That was quite a run!

She had failed in one already; she did not want to fail in the other.

She had taken the elevator to the parking lot, so when it stopped and opened, she came faced with a fleet of expensive cars parked there. She has her car parked there, too, but she isn’t in need of it yet.

Her eyes scanned the entire place before they suddenly landed on a familiar expensive black car. Its light lit its surroundings against the bright lights. She carefully walked up to the driver’s side and saw Edward behind the wheel, holding the steering wheel and looking quite uncomfortable.

She stopped a few steps away and stared at him worriedly. He wasn’t just holding the steering; he was gripping unto it that his knuckles turned white. He did not even notice someone was standing a few steps away.

The windows were rolled down, giving full access to the freezing night breeze. Cindy’s eyes widened cause even the wind against her exposed thighs felt like she should run back in.

Was the after-effect of the drug this bad?

She started to feel sorry.

She stepped closer and carefully placed her slender sexy fingers on the wound-down window.

“Edward?”

Edward raised his head to look at her, and his eyes looked red and teary. His face had paled with red patches, and his lips looked dry and lifeless.

Heart skipped.

What had she done?

“Edward, what happened? You look horrible right now?” she shuddered with wide eyes.

He sighed weakly. “Help me get Chris. He isn’t picking up his phone, and I can’t drive. I need him to help me out of here,” he muttered hoarsely, and at that moment, she almost turned to go get Chris but she immediately got herself and remembered why she was there in the first place.

Something flashed in her eyes.

“No need. I’ll drive you to the hospital,” she offered and immediately pulled open the door.

“No, Cindy. Just help me call Chris,” he protested, but she scoffed. “Chris is drunk. I saw him while I came out; stop being stubborn. I’ve already seen what’s wrong with you.”

Edward sighed.

“Move to the passenger’s seat,” she ordered, and he slowly did.

“You were drugged,” she stated naturally like she knew nothing about it. A bitter smile appeared on his lips. “I figured that out,” he muttered. “I just wonder who did this to me,” he sighed.

“Let’s go to the hospital,” she said and wound up the tinted glass.

But when the doors were locked, she suddenly turned to him and placed her hand over his very visible bulge. Her eyes widened, and she swallowed when she realized he was extremely hard as a rock.

Edward shuddered, and Cindy looked at him seductively as she began rubbing him.

“Let me help you, Edward. Let me save you the stress and pain and help you out. You’re in so much pain…” she purred.
