C8 The Most Vicious Trap

Sheng Yan let out a cold laugh. It was just like the last time.

Sheng Xiaoyun promised to help her, but secretly teamed up with Zhong Xiaoxiao to spread the news far and wide. They even circulated photos, and soon everyone in the upper circles knew Sheng Yan as a reckless woman. No one believed she was forced; they just mocked her viciously. As people pointed fingers at Sheng Yan, Faang Zheng'an glared at her with red eyes. "Yan, you lied about being pregnant, so I agreed to take you away. But not only did you stand me up, you went to a place like that?"

She stared coldly at Sheng Yan. "Get back to your room and don't come out to embarrass us again!"

Sheng Yan said nothing, waiting silently. The clock's hands pointed to 7:29, just one minute to go. Zhuang Lan was at her limit, ready to have someone drag Sheng Yan back to her room and lock her in.

Suddenly, the large screen that had been displaying Sheng Xiaoyun's beautiful photos flickered and switched to a darker scene. The screen showed the back of a man, and a voice was heard: "Young Master Faang, are you really going to do this? For Sheng Xiaoyun, risking your reputation just to drag Sheng Yan down?"

The camera panned to Faang Zheng'an, who seemed a bit drunk, his speech slightly slurred. "Ever since Sheng Yan came back, Xiaoyun's been unhappy every day. I'd do anything for Xiaoyun."

The other person asked excitedly, "Zheng'an, what are you planning to do?"

"In a few days, it's Xiaoyun's birthday. I'll trick Sheng Yan into coming out early. I'll take her to Twilight and get a room. If I can, I'll sleep with her. If not, the next day at Xiaoyun's birthday party, I'll announce she's pregnant and wants to elope with me..."

The person was thrilled and quickly asked, "Zheng'an, that girl seems pretty hot. If she really goes along with you, would you marry her?"

Zheng'an glared at Sheng Yan, his eyes filled with venomous hatred.

Sheng Yan didn't even bother to glance his way. She walked straight up to Xiaoyun and deliberately said, "Thanks for sending me the video, Ms. Xiaoyun."

Xiaoyun's eyes widened in shock.

The dinner was actually a trap Xiaoyun set for Zheng'an.

Xiaoyun had the video for a while but never revealed it.

In the past, she waited until Sheng Yan's tarnished reputation spread far and wide, and everyone in their circle despised her. Only then did Xiaoyun quietly hand it over to Sheng Yan, claiming she went through a lot of trouble to get it, hoping it would clear Sheng Yan's name.
