C3 Kicked Out

When we all reach the area where the house is all I saw was a barren bamboo field and a blank area nothing else. While everyone was busy crying and asking why do they have to suffer I walk around the area that looked like a wooden door as I smiled widely trying to pull it up but I can't. I looked down and saw a lot of very good quality weaponry and some fabrics that can be sold at a good price if I remember correctly this are the rewards that grandfather had received from his latest expedition a few years back. Then if this good items are with us here that means the items with the other family are the so so ones hehe grandfather you are really great I will take good care of this family for you. I urged my brother to put me down as I kneel and look down on the hole with brother Hans holding my shoulder incase something unexpected happen.

Let's also collect something to eat while the sun is still up. - Mother Zhou said as she clean her face and pick up an empty basket as she hold Daisy with her.

I will enter the hole when Ben arrives Hans come with me and let's search this hole it could be our living space for a while. - Father Zhou said as he stood up and pat his clothes to get rid of the dirt.

I will go cut some bamboo poles to make a temporary shelter. - Brother Dan said as he took the axe and put it on his waist.

I will come with you brother and get some bamboo tubes to collect water with. - I said as I carried a basket with me running after 2nd brother.

Zen wait for us here make sure to collect some rocks and make a small stove for us. - second brother said as he pointed on an area where he should build the stove.

When we reached the area near a lake brother Ben took out the axe as he started cutting the bamboo as he left 3 internodes of bamboo as he told me this part has water in them since it just rained for 2 days straight this week. Since second brother told me he will do the collection of water and bamboo I went to the river as I went to the shallow part looking at the big fish swimming around. I ran back to Second Brother and ask him to sharpen the thick stick I found while looked at me weirdly he still did so.

I...I will try to catch fish in the river I saw a lot of men catch fish with this in the sea so I might be able to catch some using the same way too. - I said as I leave him be going to the river and tried for a few times until I finally caught a big and fat carp.

What is it? - he asked as he finished tying up the bamboo clapping his hand as he let out a long breathe wiping his forehead looking around.

I caught 4 big carp will this be enough? - I asked showing him what I caught as i put it on the branch I used to catch them.

Wow our Little Bell is indeed the lucky star of the family, let's go and clean that fish first before we go back to where the family is at. - he said as he took out a small knife from his waist band sheath as he helped me carry the branch.

I now know how to catch fish everyone can rely on me from now on. - I said seriously as he just looked at me and pat my head lovingly.

When we finished cleaning the fish more like Second Brother cleaning it I carried the basket with 8 baboo tubes in it which Brother Dan said has water in it which I did confirm when I shake each tube. I walked in front of second brother as I pick up some firewood along the way to add up with the firewood we can use.

Mother! Father! we are back look at what I caught on the river and Older Brother got us a bamboo tube worth of water too. - I said as I showed off like a kid with everyone this is the first time I had ever caught fish with just a sharp branch not a harpoon.

Bell is the best and Daisy is too look she found a lot of berries while we are looking for wild vegetables. - Mother said as she put the basket near the clothes as I help her arrange our things.

Brother it's easier if you make this kind of structure. - I said as I draw it on the ground like a big tent and telling him to tie them with vines to tie it all together and covering it with bamboo branches and leaves to keep the wind and if it rain from going in.

Your a smart child I wish we can send you to school but they only accept male students. - Brother Hans said as he believed my make up excuses.

This must be the storage that father had told me about where he keep his precious things it's a small place but we can live inside after cleaning it up a little it's pretty spacious that way we can avoid wild animals. - Father Zhou continued as he helped mother with the fire.

That's better I was worried that the kids would get sick if they sleep in the wild for too long. - Mother Zhou said as she sighed in relief.

Father Mother I will go and wash this earthenware for us to use. - Brother Hans said as he carried the big jar.

I will go help them carry it there are a few bowls, and cups on it. - Father Zhou said as he carried another Jar.

Father carry this they have water. - I said giving him a newly opened bamboo tube.

Thank you my girl go and help your mother. - he said as he went and clean up the earthenware.

I will make some chopsticks. - I said as I took the left over bamboo that brother used as I borrowed a knife.

Let me do that and you go watch over the fish. - Mother said as she took the knife and bamboo sticks from me.

Okay, mom is the berries washed? - I asked as I pick another opened bamboo tube putting it on the side to boil.

Yes we washed everything in the spring. - mother said as she continued making chopstick.

Mom I will make us tea when the earthenware pot is here. - I said as I turned the fish on the other side to cook it evenly.

Do as you wish but we don't have any tea leaves that we can use to brew. - Mother Zhou said as she chop the bamboo sticks into even sizes.

I can just use this berries for now. - I said poking the firewood to even it out.

Mother, sister we are back. - Eldest Brother said as he put down the earthenware above the flat rock.

Dad sister said she will make us berry tea. - Daisy said as she run towards father's arm.

Will you then we should get some water then so we can get Bell to make tea. - Brother Hans said as he put the earthen pot beside the stove.

There's a clean spring just close by go fetch some water there. - Mother said as she gave the raw baboo sticks to dad to be furnished.

Daisy come and help mother with this mat. - Mother said softly as she called Daisy who is busy playing with flowers.

Okay Mom. - she said as she skipped going to the area inside the made up tent.

When everything is done and prepared we put the food in the middle as we eat our dinner when my brothers arrive using the bamboo chopsticks and earthenware we were able to have a good dinner full of laughter and joy. Although this family is poor I love it who ever gave me a chance to be transmigrated into this family thank you so much this family is a good family.

Everyone go and wash up let's all rest early and tomorrow we have a lot of things to do. - Father said as he stood up and help with the dishes while mom ushered Daisy and me to an area covered with bamboo to wash up and change.

After washing up we all took our blankets and mother and father slept in the other corner with Daisy and me in the middle while our brothers slept on the exit and the younger ones slept near our parents.
