C1 Hongcun Sketching

My name is Mu Chengxue, I'm a freshman in this year's university. The school organized me to go to a place called Hongcun to draw my life, and by the time I arrived, it was already night.

I thought it was a good place to paint, but when I got there, I heard that the village had been abandoned for a long time, leaving behind a sketching base in the wild mountains, a few dilapidated huts, a kang, and cobwebs hanging from wooden doors and windows.

The village had no electricity and could only be illuminated with a flashlight. The instructor opened the door and lit the candles on the table.

"This damned school is really black-hearted. They only accepted so much money from us and now they're bringing us to such a godforsaken place?" Do you know how to live in this crappy place? "

Tian Chou pushed me and shouted with widened eyes, "Fuck, there's even a spider web here. There's no kang like this in the countryside anymore! There's still no signal on my phone. Even if I die, no one will know! "

"That's right, that's right." Mu Xin, who was from the same dorm, also chimed in.

Suddenly, a cold wind blew and the wooden door slammed down. Mu Xin abruptly grabbed my arm and asked timidly, "Cheng Xue, what do you think? There can't be a ghost here! "

"Don't make such a big fuss over nothing. Isn't it just going to live in the countryside? What about your courage to die for art? "Alright, alright. Put down your luggage and rest early. We'll head up the mountain early tomorrow morning to draw some fresh air." The instructor accompanying them walked out with a darkened face.

Only the four of us were left in the room. Wooden doors and windows were dilapidated for a long time, creaking and creaking. Accompanying the gusts of cold wind, I could clearly feel Mu Xin's trembling beside me.

Tian Long was the first to rush onto the brick bed. After a simple cleaning, he laid down the bed and called us to go up to sleep.

"You should go to sleep early. You should get up early tomorrow morning."

The three of us clung tightly to each other. Although Lin Xuan'er was at the same level as us, they were not from the same dorm, so naturally we didn't have such a good relationship. One person leaned on the other side of the brick bed.

In the dead of night, the creaking sounds became even more distinct …

Tian Long was the bravest. He fell asleep the moment he got on the brick bed, and he could still hear her breathing.

"Snow …"

"What's wrong?"

"Can you come with me to the bathroom?" Mu Xin tremblingly asked. Ever since she came to this village, she had been trembling. Actually, it wasn't just her, but I was also quite afraid.

"Good …" "Alright!" I accompanied her down from the brick bed. There was no bathroom here, so we just needed to find a place without people to take care of it. We held a flashlight, and just as we opened the door, a gust of wind blew in, making Mu Xin and I shiver.

"Come on …" "Come on …" There was a faint sound in my ears. I looked around and saw that there was no one outside the house.

"Xin'er, did you hear something?" I whispered.

"No, Cheng Xue, don't scare me." Mu Xin pulled on my arm in fear.

"Maybe I heard wrong!"

Ever since I was a kid, whenever I was scared, I would touch my bracelet. This bracelet was given to me by my mother. As long as I felt uneasy and touched it, it would quickly calm down.

Mu Xin and I walked under a tree. The cold wind howled around us. Neither of us dared to go any deeper.

"Here it is." I said nervously.

Mu Xin nodded and looked at me embarrassedly. I immediately turned around …

Suddenly!
