C2 Town Of Malaya

Grace couldn't believe at what she saw because they were now in the middle of the forest, and she wished that the driver was not a criminal so that she couldn't be killed at any minute.

"Are we still going right?" Grace couldn't help but ask in nervousness and fear.

"Why did you come back, Grace?" Grace's eyes widened when she heard those words from the driver. He uttered her name.

"How do you know my name?" Grace could not hide her shock from the driver, and at any moment, she was ready to jump out of the car.

"How can everyone forget the cowardly daughter of our Lord Nostrad?" his voice was tinged with anger and Grace could feel it.

Grace shook her head. "I don't know what you're saying, I just want to see my father--"

"You're not just a coward, you're also a fool." Grace's eyebrows rose up at what she heard.

"What did you say? What rights do you have to tell me that kind of word?" Grace asked, annoyed. "Your taxi is the ugliest taxi I've ever seen, but did you hear me saying those words earlier?" She asked, again with anger, and the driver also looked at her angrily from the mirror.

"Madame Marly has taken you away from here and you've the guts to really come back! What's on your mind that made you this idiot?" Grace laughed in annoyance and glared at the driver.

"Do you have a brain? Because how many times have I told you that I don't know what you're saying! You're just like a broken radio talking over and over again. You're so irritating!" Grace was stunned when the driver smiled sharply. "Are you crazy? What drug did you use and now you're smiling?"

"I just can't believe I spoke to you, Princess Grace. I'm honored to be with your journey at this time," he said, proud.

Grace shook her head and rolled her eyes. "Well, I'm not honored to be with you at this time, and you know what? If you're crazy, stop fooling me. If I were a princess, I would have enrolled in an expensive school!" Grace said, annoyed, and held the letter with a sigh. "Does my father already have a family?" Grace asked, weakly out of nowhere.

The driver looked at him. "There is." Grace smiled bitterly. So maybe her mother doesn't want her to look for her father because he already has another family. "His wife is Madame Marly and they have one child named Grace." Grace looked at the driver and suddenly smiled.

"Why didn't my father marry someone else for twenty years--"

"It's only fifteen years. You were only five years old when you and Madame Marly left."

"So why didn't he get married?"

"Why would he get married if he's married? Madame Marly and you are far away, but they haven't separated, and they haven't stopped loving each other even so."

"Then why did my mother and I left? Why did we choose to stay away rather than live here?"

"Why are you asking me? I'm not even part of your family! I just knew a little." Grace immediately hit his head for being non-sense philosopher. The man would also have hit her when Grace spoke.

"I'm a princess, as you said. Just one fight against me and my father will surely cut off your head."

The man stared at her and shook his head. "They erased your memory. I hope you can finish her, Grace. I hope you can end us."

Grace did not hear what the driver said, but he did not speak again. Her eyes were so amazed when she saw two big trees and guards next to the trees.

"This is the 'tunnel' Grace. This is the road to the town of Malaya. If you are just a normal person, a tree will throw you away from the tunnel, because a mortal person can no longer enter our town like town of Alarcon, and the other town same like ours."

Grace didn't speak because she couldn't hear anything, her full attention was focused on the two big trees and the guards behind it.

"I'm glad you're back, dear Princess. Please remember the name Chrollo in the time you need to end our lives. I'll be glad to die at your hands." Grace never heard the driver's whispered again, but Grace smiled and asked.

"What's your name?" Grace asked with a smile written on her face.

"I'm Chrollo, Princess Grace."

"From now on, I want you to be my personal bodyguard. Is that alright?" Chrollo nodded and stared at Grace's smiling face and shook his head.

In Chrollo's mind, no matter what happens, he will help Grace to end the life of Ada and the lives of the entire town of Malaya, he's hoping that Grace is ready for the pain she will feel in the future.

Grace's eyes widened as she got out of the taxi and the guards quickly knelt in front of her.

"Welcome back Princess Grace." Grace frowned because despite the respect given to her was the bitter tone of the guards kneeling in front her. They didn't seem to want her presence.

"Princess Grace is tired, and she wants to go at Nostrad's palace." Grace turned to Chrollo and nodded.

"Just a reminder that we want to say Princess Grace," said one of the guards seriously. "Being deaf, heartless, blind and lame will help you in times of disaster." Grace didn't get what the guards wants to point out, but she smiled at them.

"Now you can go straight inside the town." Grace couldn't help but smile as she crossed the two trees and was so shocked that in just one step of her foot, she was in a royal town right now.

Overflowing with money, that's how Grace wanted to describe the town in front of her because there was no denying the wealth of everyone.

Grace looked at the two trees but they were no longer there, but the guards were looked at her. A variety of emotions filled their eyes.

"Please don't die right away, Princess—-" even before Grace could answer they disappeared immediately, so she confronted Chrollo.

"Am I crazy? What's going on? I want to panic earlier, but I chose to be surprised because it's beautiful here, but the creepy things and words that came out of your mouth are real, and also those guards and this town! We're in the middle of the forest earlier, and now we're here in this rich town and the guards were gone!" Grace said hysterically and widened her eyes when she saw a cotton candy vendor and immediately forgot what she's saying.

Chrollo shook his head. "What an idiot."

Grace just picked up a cotton candy from a vendor. The vendor would have been angry, but was shocked to see Grace.

"What are you going to complain about hu? I'm a princess duh!" Grace loves the title she has there more than the normal life she has in hers.

"You're back," the vendor said lifelessly. "We're about to end!" He raised his voice that caused other people to look at them and in an instant, she and Chrollo were the only two people she could see around.

"What happened?" she wondered. "Do all the people here in this town are using drugs?" Chrollo grabbed her arm, and looked at her seriously instead of answering her.

"You can already hear her scream, you can already feel her anger. She can already see you, Grace."

Grace frowned. "What are you saying?"

"Hide!"
