C7 Chapter seven

Well ,today is the day. I'm moving to Italy to start anew. It is scary but I deal with being a single parent. My dad said I could work for his winery. My parents produce the best wine in Europe and Asia called the loto di vitro (glass lotus).

He wanted to put me as the director but I don't know a thing about the wine business so in the meantime I can work under his current manager Luciano Rucci. My mother won't stop telling me how attractive he is and dad won't stop praising him, he's the son they never had .

"Mom grandpa's plane is just like dad's,can I fly the plane grandpa?", when he mentioned his dad my heart dropped,my dad sees my distress and tries to distract liam.

"Yes you can but only when you're bigger but in the meantime we can go check out the cockpit and take pictures while the pilot gets everything ready",and they get on the plane.

Katherine won't stop taking pictures. I hope she finally finds love. She insisted on working but my parents insisted that she was now part of the family.I know she'll find it hard when she's been working and serving others most of her life but I told her to take it as a much needed vacation.

I'm the last person to get on the plane, goodbye Nick, good bye L.A and hello Italy.

The trip to Italy was 13 hours long so I decided to get some rest in the cabin. Later my baby Liam came to join me and we snuggled all the way.

I'd do anything for this kid even though I did not birth him , I love him like my own,he is mine.

Midway liam woke up and was hungry so we went and got something to eat. While we were eating Liam asked if he was ever going to see his dad again and if his dad was still upset because he drew all over his papers.

"Oh no sweetie you didn't do anything wrong and daddy just has some important work to do, that's it I'm sure he'll find time to see you,now go and get the drawings we did so you can show granny and grandpa".

He gets up and runs to the cabin.

My mother looks at me and says",what will you do when he notices that his dad is never coming to see him?".

" I'll cross that bridge when I get there mom",I sigh and take a sip of my juice.

The trip is long and I can't help but reminisce about all the memories of my once happy family. Why is it so hard to forget can't I just fall out of love just like Nick did. Nick ,I wonder what he is doing right now,I look at the ring he gave to me and I doubt I'll ever take it off. I don't ever want to take it off.

The pilot announces that will be landing soon,so we should find our seats and buckle up. I buckle Liam's seat belt and kiss his cheek and he rewards me with a smile. I know that most mothers say they're babies are cute but mine is the cutest baby in the whole world. I don't know what I'd do without Liam.

We land and make our way to the limo that came to pick us up. "Mom, why didn't you tell me you got a new handsome driver?",I whispered to my mom.

She smiles and whispers" that's Enzo ,he is Luciano's cousin and honey you ain't seen nothing yet Luciano is drop dead gorgeous",my mom sings at the end.

" I heard that honey",my dad walks up to us and whispers,he also scares the shit out of me and my mom.

We walk to the car with Liam holding my hand,and my parents introduce me to Enzo.

"It is a pleasure bella signora '', I look at the man in front of me, he's got midnight black curls and hazel eyes framed perfectly by bold eyebrows. His skin was tanned and he had prominent high cheekbones and a well defined nose and chin. Muscles rippled across every part of his body and I can tell he really took care of himself.

My mother clears her throat and elbows me"this is the part you say, it's a pleasure Enzo I'm Lotus and this is my son Liam".

And everyone including Enzo bursts out laughing, I'm now red as a tomato.

"Mom really,eeem Hi it's nice to meet you", and I quickly entered the car.

Liam enters after introducing himself to Enzo like a good boy he is.

The car starts and we drive to the vine.I must say Italy is beautiful,my parent's Vine is in Rome and I can't wait to see all the cool places with Liam.

We reach the Vine and I must say it is beautiful,Liam won't stop saying how cool everything is. The car stops and Enzo opens the door for us,I thank him as I get out and Liam dashes into the vine,I panic and chase after him.

"Liam, wait!",I yell and my mom shouts for me to be careful because I'm pregnant.

I see him round a corner and I turn sharply only to bump into a wall,hands snake around my waist and steadies me and stops me from falling flat on my butt.

"Hold on there Bella Signora,". And I look into the most mesmerizing blue eyes,with flecks of silvery light.

I noticed how close we were and put some distance between us.i looked at his tousled dark brown hair which was thick and lustrous. He had dark eyebrows that sloped into a serious expression. His face was strong and defined, this man unlike Enzo wore a fuzzy thin beard. A prominent jaw curved gracefully around and the strength of his neck in the twining cords of muscle that sharpen his entire body, strong arms,a firm chest and torsel,my eyes trailed down his eight pack and my mouth goes dry but stop at the small trail of thin hair that disappeared into some jeans.

"Take a picture, it will last longer bella signora",the stranger said.

I frowned and looked back at the man who was in front of me and he was wearing a smirk and his eyes danced with amusement.

I clear my throat and say", I'm looking for my son".

"He's here Miss Lotus", Enzo who I didn't notice standing with us the whole time with Liam in his hands eating some grapes.

"Liam my gawd , don't ever run off like that".

" It's okay Miss Lotus, I'll take her back to the house",Enzo says.

" Thanks Enzo and please just call me lotus",I say and I watch them walk off.

" I see the prodigal daughter returns",the man in front of me says and folds his arms and I can't help but look at the way his muscles ripple with the movement.

"Excuse me Mr gorgeous,sexy , Adonis looking stranger,how dare you talk to me like that", I immediately realized what I just said and silently cursed myself.

"The name's Luciano, I manage your parents' vine,just to make it clear you being here won't make a difference,",he says.

He walks around me and stands behind me" not bad ",he comments. This sexy jerk how dare he shamelessly check me out.

"Excuse you,who the hell do you think you are," I say as I poke his chest.

He holds my hand in his rough one and whispers in my ear,and his lips touch my earlobe and shivers go down my spine"the man you were shamelessly eye fucking a while ago and the man who face and body you'll fantase with and use to pleasure yourself with from now on",he lightly taps my ass and walks away.

I'm left feeling hot and bothered,what an arrogant man he is,how dare he talk to me that way, wait until I become his boss when dad gives me the job,he will regret talking to me like that.

I huff and stomp my way back to the house.
