C8 Chapter eight

Who the hell does he think he is? I make my way to the house and I meet a lovely brunette with black eyes. I ask her to direct me to where my parents are.

"Mom ,Dad that Luciano guy is so rude and disrespectful,you should consider firing him honestly",I say as I pop a grape in my mouth" what does he do here anyway?".

"He's the owner of the biggest winery in Italy and he buys all the grapes our vine produces,he comes around to help because this was his maternal grandmother's land and also just between you and I, your father knows nothing about growing grapes",and she wraps her arm around my shoulder.

"Oh you never told me I thought he was just some common employee I must have been mistaken ,he made it seem like he worked here ,this land must mean a lot to him".

" Yeah he had to sell the land , because his winery was having some money issues,so we were like why not and we bought it",mom says.

Just then Luciano walks in to get a glass of water. He walks in like he owns the place,just because it used to be his grandmother's doesn't mean he can walk in whenever he feels like. And thank gawd he's wearing a shirt wouldn't want to choke now would we.

"Oh hey Luciano,my daughter told me you've met, I'll go and call Troy, she's single",she whispers at the end and walks out the kitchen. Aghh really I can't believe this woman. The stretch of silence is getting weird.

"Just for the record Yes I'm single and pregnant actually, I'm not looking for a man right now even if I were I'd want nothing to do with you",and I cross my arms .

He begins to laugh,is he serious right now. Though I must say he really has an attractive voice, that's besides the point.

" Don't stress yourself, I don't fancy pregnant women and you're far too plain for my liking,just to make it short you're not my type",he rinses the glass he was drinking from and walks out.

I don't know why but I can't help but feel hurt by what he said. I'm not his type and I'm too plain, maybe that's why Nick left me. And just like that the thought of Nick crawled into my head. My eyes begin to glass over ,no I won't cry. So I decided to find my son Liam. He'll cheer me up.

I bump into the brunette I met earlier whose name I learn is Marie,I ask her to direct me to Liam's room. On our way she shows me my room which is just across from Liam's and Katherine's next to Liam's room. I twist the handle and I find my little boy arranging his things,he looks so cute.

The door opening catches his attention and he turns to look at me with a smile on his face but it quickly turns to a frown."Are you here to yell at me because I run off into the fields, I'm sorry mama I was just so excited,I won't do it again,you won't leave will you?".

I sit on his bed and pull him into a hug" no I'm not going to yell nor am I going to leave you ,just don't do it next time you might get lost , and I can never leave you because you're my sunshine and I love you to the moon and back",he finishes the last part with me.

I kiss his forehead and he goes back to packing his toys, I don't know what I'd do without this little boy, anyone could fall in love with him he just knows his way into people's hearts.

"So when my little brother or sister is born can they sleep with me mom?",he asks me and lays in bed with me, and I spoon him up.

"Of course I don't see the problem sweetie",he gets up and whispers to my tummy" you hear that mom said you'll be sharing my room with me",I chuckle at his innocence, children really are a gift from above.

Well this is the new start I wanted for Liam and I. Maybe I'll talk to Dad and start working, I'm sure he'll find something for me to do around here.

Oh gawd if someone told me that I'd be in this position a few years ago I'd call them a liar.

I wonder what Nick is doing,he doesn't deserve to have a happily ever after with Camille and they're child.

My thoughts then go back to Luciano,he sure is something, he's arrogant but I can't help the warm feeling I get in my gut knowing that I'll be seeing him more often.

Liam and I clean and arrange his room for the rest of the day.
