C4 THE PLAN 3

The young brown bear on her chest glowed again as she narrowly evaded the dart. Brednack, noticing this, responded by sprouting wings from his back, tearing his cloak in the process. He used these wings to shield himself as Luna unleashed a remarkable counterattack.

With a swift motion, her dual swords now in her hands flew out of her hands and spun rapidly at her sides, generating a powerful force that caught Brednack and the dilts off balance and left taken aback. The blades' phantom speed created a whirlwind that forced them back, sending Jainee crashing to the ground unconscious and Sheemack and Dorck injured and dazed. Brednack's wings, shaped like an eagle's, were unable to withstand the force, and he was propelled backward, his cloak torn and his demonic body partially revealed.

Luna, exhausted from using most of her life force, collapsed to the ground, her knees and one hand supporting her. As she struggled to recover, she detected movement in the air and warned Alex and Cole, fixing Alex and Cole with a serious stare, her eyes conveying the gravity of the situation who quickly sprang into action. They raced towards the carriage to retrieve Abel, their horses sensing the danger.

Already a little late to the danger.

Alex drew his broad sword knowing this was the only action he could take knowing they cannot reach the carriage, before the object-a deadly projectile gains momentum, ready to face the incoming threat. Cole, noticing this, instinctively shifted his horse to intercept the object, who receives an acknowledgement from Alex, but it adjusted its trajectory, heading straight for the carriage. Alex seized the opportunity to strike, but the object shimmered and vibrated, causing his sword to break. Stunned, Alex momentarily froze before snapping back to attention, only to see the object pierce the supposedly impenetrable carriage.
